ADELAIDE

To Newt's much dismay, we had agreed upon not sharing the state of my mental health to anyone unless, it is the last resort.

As we trudge down the vast sea of sands, I would have been blind not to notice that Newt always lingered by my side, always subtly checking on me.

Though I love him caring about me, he needs to stop treating me like a delicate china glass.

It was already sundown when Minho decided that it was best for all of us to rest for a while and so, we are all walking a little bit to find at least a semi-decent four walled structure with a stable roof overhead for us to sleep in.

It wasn't so hard to find since we were almost near the town anyway.

Luckily, we found a broken down, but a massive three storey building. It's windows are all shattered and it's paints had long ago peeled off. Creepers climbed up its walls and tiny plants sprouted We enters the building. It is dark but the insides are huge, with a large hallway and large rooms lined up on each side of its walls. There are two broken down and dusty escalators, leading up to the first floor. It was a mall back in the days.

"It looks like a shopping mall." Bea trails off, looking around.

We all remember what a shopping mall is. And I bet everyone remembers going to one with someone, but nobody remembers with whom.

I feel such a stinging pain in my heart, seeing the pathetic condition.

What if this was the place where mommy and I came for shopping? And what if this place has a little arcade too, where I used to play with daddy?

I drop my bag on the floor where the rest of the boys are sitting down and taking out their blankets. I stroll the place, looking around the place.

The stores are empty, with broken shelves and upturned chairs or mannequins. One of them has a store filled with mannequins adorned with clothes. There are some clothes and shoes dumped in the corner.

"Guys" I yell, my voice echoing back. "There are clothes in here!"

I fish out a red scarf and wrap it loosely around my neck. The boys file in, instantly attacking in the clothes and shoes. Bea rummages through the stack of clothes, her dainty fingers trying to find out clothes for her size.

Newt crouches beside me, as I dig in for some fresh female underwear. I find a jacket. I brush the dust off it and take it. The boys find some working flashlights.

I find the underwear and quickly stand up. "I need to change." I say to Newt.

"Don't go far away and alone. We don't know what is in here." I nod.
