CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
ADELAIDE
The little brunet effortlessly crawled through the small place, without making a single sound against the walls of the air vents.
She had already been taught how to crawl through the narrowest of places, without making a noise.
Unfortunately, that couldn't be said for the person in front of him, who tried his best to crawl as silently as possible, yet it was 'too noisy' for the assassin-in-training girl.
"Can you be any more louder?" she hissed at the boy, sarcasm dripping through her words.
"Shut up!" the blond boy hissed back.
Although Adelaide had become very good friends with the members of the Team Badbutt as they called, she still disliked the British boy of the group. Though her friends would argue that it was much better than earlier, as she now no longer feels this urge to throttle the boy.
Now, about the name of their group- Team Badbutt. Aislinn had a hearty laugh when Adelaide had told her the name of the squad. The young brunet had tried to explain her trainer, trying to ignore Aislinn's constant laugh attack how they'd decided upon this name.
"This is not- stop laughing! This is not a joke! St-stop! Aislinn! Listen!"
The trainer had finally controlled her laugh and listened to her goddaughter, who pouted away.
Adelaide had explained how her squad wanted to name themselves as Team Badass, but then Minho who knew a lot of slangs for a kid told that badass was a slang. Teresa didn't want to use a slang. She'd told that they would be setting a bad example to Chuck, who was the youngest in the group.
So, Newt had found out the synonym of the offensive word and hence the Team Badbutt was born.
"It's same as Badass but doesn't sound offensive." Adelaide had concluded.
Adelaide sighs in irritation as the boy in front of him keeps still, doing god knows what.
The cramped space wasn't doing a bit to make her comfortable, the stale and stagnant air was making her nauseous.
"You know, I don't really want to stare at your butt the whole day." She whispered.
"Shut up, please." The boy glared at her moodily.
She didn't know what she was doing here and what she is going to do. All she knew that the night before, Newt had asked her to come with him. He just told that he'll want to show her something.
Newt turned back slightly and motioned for the girl to crawl to him. The girl squeezed through the small space and dragged her body forward, pressing uncomfortably to the boy. Newt too moved as much as he could, but in the small space neither could do much.
