ADELAIDE

When I wake up, I find myself surrounded by complete darkness and dead silence.

I sit up, trying to find someone- Bea, Minho, Newt, anyone, but I can see nothing other than my hands. I can feel my hands clutching the steering of a car. A panic rise to my throat.

As my eyes dart up and down rapidly, I find myself in a car. A car that I haven't ever seen in my life.

The blood pounds in my ears. My heart thuds in my chest. My hands shake and my feet tingles.

Where the hell am I? I should be with my friends? Where am I? Where are they? How did I get here?

I have to get away. I can't in the car any longer. I can't see what was beyond the windshield of the car.

I keep yanking on the car lock, repeatedly, trying to get out, but I'm locked in.

My breathing slowly starts to increase, and I feel like I am drowning.

Automatically, I feel as if my throat is starting to choke up and my lungs are being filled with some sort of liquid. I can't breathe. I cough desperately trying to get some air. The walls expand and contract. They sometimes bore down on me.

I think you're going to get crushed. My head aches and my heart is pounding. I bang on the walls, desperate for some help. I cry harder, my chest growing tight as bile rose in my throat.

"Ally! Ally! ADELAIDE!" With a huge gasp, I finally force my eyes open and see Bea trying to pull down my hands from my face.

Her eyes are wide with fear and her lips are busted.

With my heart beat still sky-rocketing, I pant while I look around to find myself in the burning Red Arm Base.

"Let's go, Ally!" Bea pulls me up from my sitting position and yanks me behind a big boulder.

"What happened?" Bea whispers.

"I-I kind of had a terrifying hallucination." I ball my fist near my thumping heart.

"Your eyes were open but you were so out of it and yelling like anything." Bea's blue eyes calms me down. "But you're okay." She holds my hand tightly I'm assurance.

I smile and clutch her hand tighter. I look around, hiding behind the boulder and see tons of hostages on the other side of the camp, their arms tied to their backs. Many guards point their guns at them as a few bring more hostages to the group and forces them down in their knees.
