The High Altitude Escapade

Skip the two days and here we are ready to travel. I packed up my things well and I placed it at the back of the car.

" Look who's excited..." My mom teases me

" Finally, a break." I told my mom with a giggle

" Did you pack a sweater?" My mom asked

" Yep. You told me to." I said

" Let's go!" My dad called us because we have to travel quite a long way... 8 hours.

As my dad starts to drive, I place on my headset and start to close my eyes. And I did not realize that I fell asleep that instant.. After let's say 2 hours of straight sleep, my phone vibrated all of a sudden.

" Hey there." Joshua texted me

I rubbed my eyes to make sure I'm seeing it right. Then..

" Hi there Laurena sweetie." My mom said seeing me wake up

" Hi mom." I said in a lazy manner

" Catching some sleep?" My dad asked me

" Yep ." I answered my dad with a yawn

" Then maybe you could catch a view outside." My dad told me and that made me look out the window 1 instant

The time I looked out the window... WOAH! It was way cool! Its so serene. I just can't explain it actually. It made me feel so free and relaxed. I took a picture and posted it on my Instagram account with a caption : Where am I?

" Where are we sweetheart?" My dad asked me

" I do not know.." I said

" Any guess?" My dad asked me

" I don't want to guess..  I just want to enjoy the view.." I said dreamingly looking out the window.

Yep. I think my mom and dad needs some time to escape busy Manila. And I believe I needed it too.  After all that busy but happy showbiz stuff. I think a week rest would be enough. Oh gosh! I forgot to reply to Joshua.

" Hi there. " I replied

" Watcha doin?" He started a conversation

" Traveling." I just replied

" Mall show?" He asked

" Nope.  Vacation." I told him

" That's new.. Hahahaha. Where?" He asked

" My mom's place." I answered

" Where exactly?" He asked me

" Baguio." I answered

" Nice one! Don't forget som jams and sunflowers for me." He told me

" Sunflowers and jams?? You've got to be kidding me." I answered back

" They make it the best there." He told me

" HAHAHAHAHA. Fine. I'll see if I could." I told him

" Ok then. " He answered

The convo just made me smile like a jerk. Just seriously ..  Hahahha. He kept on cracking jokes that kept me laughing deep inside but I had to hide it in.

" Laurena.. " My mom called me with a creepy smile as she seats infront.

" Yes mom?" I asked with a puzzled face.

" It's just the beginning sweetheart. You'll be happier real soon." My mom told me.
