Always a Candy Girl

When Manong Clemente told me about that Candy magazine shoot , as soon as I went out of the car and I saw mom in the kitchen

" MOM!" I freaked out

" You look so happy." She told me

" Why did you not tell me about the Candy Magazine shoot tomorrow?" I asked her

" Well, I wanted you to focus on the video first then I would tell you all about it when you get here." Mom said hugging me tight

" Ohmygosh!" I freaked out

" Hello there." Dad said

" Hi dad!" I said giving him a very tight hug

" How was the shoot?" He asked

" A bit tiring but it went all well." I said

" And its seems you're still busy since you still have a Candy Magazine photo shoot tomorrow." Dad told me

" I can't wait!" I exclaimed

" Go get some rest first then." My dad told me

I went up to my room. Changed my clothes and just lay down in the bed and scroll through my phone. The photo I posted about the music video got a lot of reactions! Some asked if there's a leading man or when it will be released. I didn't answer any questions for everything to be a surprise. In the middle of my scanning, Coleen called me up.

" Hey.." Coleen said

" HEY!" I said as I wished to freak out

" Congratulations on the shoot.. For today and for tomorrow." She told me

" You knew about it too?" I asked her

" Just now actually." She told me

" I am too excited. So many good things are happening!" I told her

" And I am so happy for you." She told me

" Aww... Thanks bestie." I said

" Get some sleep girl." She told me

" Fine... I need beauty rest for tomorrow's shoot" I joke

I wake up the next day feeling really excited. I had breakfast then I took a bath. I dashed to the car with overloading excitement and Manong Clemente and I went off. I enjoyed the music in the car more than ever. I really felt so happy. AND A LOT MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN EVER! I don't know why but I suddenly felt like it. I look through the other covers of Candy then I suddenly felt a pressure. I mean, they all look pretty and interesting and I hope I would do the same.

" You seem so excited for this one miss." Manong Clemente told me

" Indeed! It was actually my dreams since I was a kid. I collect this kinds of magazines since then." I told him

" So its another dream come true for you Miss Laurena. I'm so proud of you." He told me

" Thank you Manong Clemente." I said with a very big smile

On the way, we got stuck in traffic which slightly changed my mood but in 5 minutes being stuck

" Hey.." Janssen texted me

" Sup?" I replied

" Nothing beautiful :* " He texted me back

" The emoticon???" I asked him hoping it was a missend.. (even though deep inside I wanted it.)
