It was past dinner time that I went through the pieces and I can't pick any piece I like. I was by the piano trying each then..

" Which one did you like?" My mom asked as she sat beside me

" None." I said honestly

" Really?" My mom asked in shock

" They're too sweet.. I want something that would somewhat surprise them.." I told my mom

" Hmm.." My mom tries to think about something

I can't choose! UGH! But despite that, I tried playing all of them.

" Wait a sec.." My mom said going to her room

" Sure mom.." I said as she went upstairs.. Maybe to her room.. I don't really know.

I was looking for something they would be surprised with. They may not all like classical music but I'm going to show what it is about. Anyways, playing just gave me relief in a way then my mom came down.

" OK. I'm passing this down to you ok." My mom said as she placed a music sheet on the piano

" Ma, you have to be kidding me." I said as I saw the title of the piece

" Yes. I know you could do it. And besides you heard this already." My mom tried to boost my confidence

"You think so?" I just asked

" Yep." She said with a smile

"Ma, you have to be kidding me. FIRST WALTZ BY AUGUSTE DURAND? " I uttered(A/N : This is a true piece. Search it on Youtube if you want)

" This was the most memorable piece I have." My mom said as she tried to play it once again

" That was your mom's piece at the Pianista Olympics."Dad said all of a sudden

"Really?" I just uttered as my mom started playing

"And it has the shock factor you want." Mom said

So I chose the piece. Mom used to place this to me when I was young.. Until she went to hospital when I was 7.. Anyways. I practiced with the remaining time I have. 2 days was kinda short actually. I practiced during lunch break at school, before I sleep, and after I change into my school uniform. Then, it was already the day of the talent show. I woke up as the usual me as if nothing was special though. It would just look like a school showcase and all.

" Good morning." My parents jinxed as I went  down

"Morning mom.. dad.." I said as I still walk sleepily going down

" Good luck on the show today." My dad said

" Thanks dad." I said with a smile

" Those practices would pay off. I'm telling you." My mom said as she gave me a tight hug

That gave me the strength and the confidence to do well later. I went up to get ready for school and then like all of a sudden.

" Hello?" I answer my phone

" Morning! Are you ready?" Joshua woke me up to my senses

" WOAH! I think so.." I said

" Oh come on! You could do it. You've been practicing a lot." Joshua told me

" OK then.. Thanks for the encouragement." I just said
