Ok. Now who to choose? Why is this so hard?

" Why make it so hard on yourself?" Coleen asks me

" And now its me making my own life harder?" I ask her

" Well, its just a music video... The more you make this decision harder the more they would think there is something behind this." Coleen told me

" You've got a point." I said

" Now choose, Janssen or Joshua?" Coleen asked me for one last time

I just went out and just walked my way confidently back to the office. I remembered we were just to sit outside when exactly..

" You could come in already." Mr. G's secretary said as he opened the door

" Coleen." I called her as she walked as slow as a turtle in the hallway

" Coming." She uttered when she finally could run

We both entered Mr. G's office.

" So you are given the freedom to choose your leading man for your first ever sweet music video. Who would your leading man be?" Mr G asks me

" Well.." I uttered as I try to gain the confidence to say it all

" I would like to have Janssen as my partner sir." I said with confidence

" May I know the reason why?" Mr G asks me all of a sudden

Ena think of a good answer.. Think think think! Something that wont show anything... THINK! Gosh.. Why is it like this?

" Uhm.. I believe sir he is new in this industry and he should be exposed to this kinds of projects. I was thinking of Joshua as an option for this project but I believe it is time to introduce new artists of this family to the public. " I just smiled showing I have clean intentions and that's it

" Good thought miss Laurena.." Mr. G told me that honestly relieved me quickly

" But do you think he could really carry this out." He asked me as a follow up

" Sir, Janssen would do anything due to determination and love for his work. You do not know how blessed he feels to be part of our family." I just answered the truth

" Am I really unaware or is he just too close to you ladies that you can read him like an open book?" Mr. G. laughs out asking himself and maybe also my mom

" Well, get ready by next year.. January or February you would have already your shooting." Mr G adds.

" Thank you sir for the wonderful gift." I told him as I shake his hand

" You deserve a great spot in this industry .. and who know Coleen might be next." Mr. G. told me

I looked at Coleen and gave her a smile about what Mr. G just said. So here are the three of us that have nothing to do. SERIOUSLY!

" What to do?" I ask myself

" I think we need to celebrate." Mom told me

" Too much blessings are pouring down on you Laurena."Coleen told me

" I know.. This.. the Japan qualification letter..." I started enumerating

"Hmmm.. Prepare well for that my dear." Mom told me

" Its rare to get that opportunity dear." Mom added

" Yes mom." I said

" Tita you went po ba to the conservatory?" Coleen asked

" Got locked up there actually." My mom clarified

" mom?" I just uttered in shock

" You know what, we cant talk about this over food." My mom said

" Probably yep." I said

So my mom drove us somewhere to this restaurant for lunch then we finally got a table. My mom took our orders then after we continued the chit chat that shocked me to the bones.

" Locked up po in a conservatory po tita?" Coleen started it all over again

" Yes.. I was.. maybe for almost all my college years.." Mom answered

" What exactly happened mom?" I ask her

" Your grandparents Laurena.. punished me since I did not want to go to Canada. So they locked me up. And sort of made me forget it all forcefully through medicine." Mom explained

" How sad naman po tita..." Coleen uttered all of a sudden

" But good thing I was too smart to see some things that would made me remember your dad all of a sudden." Mom told me

" What things?" I started to get curious

" The bracelet and the book." Mom told me

" The one you kept under your bed?" I ask her

" Yep." She answered

" Well.. maybe let's just say that love is too powerful that it could make you overcome fears and strengthen faith and your hope at times. I honestly waited for the day that I would see your father again after all the things that happen. "My mom suddenly reminisced everything

" The funny thing is that.. he saved me in a very mischievous manner.." Mom suddenly left us hanging

" How mischievious tita?" Coleen asked

" More mischievous than what your mom and dad has expected.." Mom smiled like a jerk after saying that

" How exactly?" I asked my mom

" Your dad set up a smoke machine then rang the fire alarm so that everybody went out when the lights were off when the teacher who locked me up was playing for a recital." She told the story straight

" Wow.." Coleen just uttered

" Is dad really that mischievous mom? It doesn't show.." I said

"it only comes once in a while." Mom told me

" How.. how does dad do that??" I suddenly wondered

" Hmmm.. I dont know. It maybe something like magic." Mom told me.

Magic? Wait.. I thought of something all of asudden. All of these good stuff. This is not simply a coincidence.. But howdoes it happen? I don't want to believe it. Magic, perhaps?
