Janssen's POV
So that pageant was done and a big congratulations to Emili. And who knew that they were all related in a way to Laurena and Tita Louise. So I got home and I saw my dad on the kitchen table. It seemed like he was thinking deep.
" Dad.." I just uttered entering home
" Oh.. You're home already.." My dad uttered as I came to sit down with him
" Are you OK dad?" I asked him
" Yeah.. I'm fine.." He told me going out
" I think I just needed some rest.." He added as he went to his room.
That was strange
" Don't cook. I bought some food outside." My dad told me
" Ok then.." I said.
I just let the night pass by quickly and it was another ordinary morning until
" JANSSEN!" I heard someon shout from my back
" Woah!" I just uttered looking at my back feeling REAL shocked
" Sorry." Laurena said with a cute smile... Wait, what am I saying
" Uhmm.. What's up?" I asked her
" Nothing.." She told me
" Serious? Why so hyper then?" I asked her
" I do not.. know.. myself.." She said having long pauses word per word
"OK.." I just uttered looking at her weirdly
" AHA! BOOM! You forgot!" She said shocking me the second time
" What?" I asked her
" The quiz today !" She pointed out
"Now you caught me little miss mischief." I suddenly uttered.. Wait what
" Woah.. Your words.. Now lemme ask you.. SUP?" She asked me
" I .. Just don't mind." I tried to make an excuse
Then Mam Morales came in the classroom.
" Good morning class." She said entering
" Good morning mam." We all greeted in chorus
" I have an announcement to make.. Especially for the boys." Mam Morales emphasized which caught my attention
" The school foundation week is not yet over. Therefore, there would be an intersection basketball tournament. And I believe the boys from this classroom would make a great team." She said with a smile
" Winning would give 5 additional points to your upcoming quiz. And the ladies. I believe we could do well in the cheering." Mam Morales kid around
BASKETBALL! If there was one thing I would love aside from dancing.. It would be basketball
" Mam, we're in!" All the boys jinxed.. which happens once in a while
" OK then. Start practicing because its going to be next week." Mam Morales said
" Woah woah woah.. You?" Laurena asked me
