The Last Day of School

" Ena, be ready to go in 15 minutes" Mom said from downstairs

" Ok mom." I answer back as I sit infront of my dresser

I gaze at the mirror looking at myself. I smile to myself feeling proud about this day that I'm on top of our class. It's not only me who's proud but also my parents so its something like a double bonus for me. I was in the middle of brushing my hair getting ready to braid it when my phone suddenly vibrates because Coleen is calling

" Hello?" I answer

" Put in on loud speaker. I bet you're fixing up already" she instructed

" OK. It's on loud speaker." I said as I make my phone stand against the mirror

" CONGRATULATIONSS!!!"

" CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU TOOOO!!"

" Isn't this a perfect moment?" I told her realizing that we always dream to be on top together in everything no matter what

"Are you sure everything is fine?" She asked me

" Yeah. I won't forget you when I'm in Japan. I promise to keep in touch with all of you guys."

" But it seems that you are forgetting someone already.." She said

" Who?"

" Who else? You pretend but I can hear that loud scream of your heart Ena..."

" Let's not mind that .." I just uttered so our conversation would keep going

" I don't think you can't go against your feelings any longer Ena." She told me

I stood up and rushed to lock the door so nobody would hear whatever we're talking about. Of course I cannot forget him but I have to keep some distance. I don't want to create any mess before I leave. Like the old toddler rule, clean up before you leave.

" I don't want to create some chaos because of my feelings before I leave this place." I told her

" Come on! You love him right?"

Yes. Since the beginning. I was just scared to admit it to myself because of the past he has with my fake sister.

" You know the answer to that."

" Could you not like.. sneak out and just have a minute to talk to him.?"

" Once my mom would know we have this special attachment , I am double dead .. more than you could imagine Coleen."

" Just tell him the final things before going away."

" What is there else to tell?"

"It's up to you.. if you have plans to go back into his arms after some time"

" This might just be temporary."

I try to go against what I feel. The more that I do that, the urge to fight for what I feel get stronger and stronger

" Can you at least break a rule just this once.. even though I know its not in your bucketlist before you leave. " She teases me

" 5 minutes ena.." Mom shouts from the other room

" Almost done mom." I answer back

" For both of your feelings, think about it." Coleen said

" You really make me do things I should not Coleen."

" Have fun before you leave. It's stressful at Japan. You know that." She reminds me

" See you. I'm not yet even done with my braid!" I scold her
