~𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚛𝚍 𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗~

Still feeling grumpy from a long days sleep, Ajay stretched lazily on her bed, yawning loudly. She directed her gaze to the wall clock opposite her bed.

"Fifteen minutes passed five." She muttered, sounding not so surprised that she woke up this late.

She sat up and stretched again, rubbing her eyes. Her body felt numb due to the long period of time for which she had been sleeping. It wasn't her fault though. Even after the awesome dinner date with Obinna, She had to stay up all night editing the video of the interview she had with Obinna. She had promised her fans to upload it before evening. But she couldn't due to the euphoric feeling she got when Obinna asked her out on a date accompanied with a tad bit of laziness. After successfully editing the video, she uploaded it at exactly 11:28 that morning and went straight to sleep.

when he beat it up, he deep inside that kitty cat......🎵 her phone rang aloud. Picking it up, she discovered it was her best friend, Zara. Picking the call she placed the phone on her ear.

"Hello, Ba....."

"Ajayyyyyyyy...!!!" Zara squealed loudly into her ears, excitement evident in her voice. Her voice was so loud that Ajay had to take the phone away from here ear for sometime by reflex.

"Jesus Christ! Zara, do you want to break my ear drums?"

"Leave ear drum talk o jare. Congratulations baby girl!"

Ajayy stood confused. 'Congratulations for what? Abi did she find out about Obinna asking me out? It can't be now. I never told her anything, or did I call her in my sleep?' Ajay thought. "Aunty calms now. Congratulations for what?"

"Wait o! Don't tell me you've not checked your phone this evening." Zara sounded very disappointed.

"My dear, you know I had to stay up all night editing that video now. I've been sleeping all through. I just woke up few minutes ago." Ajay explained, taking a seat on her bed in order to relax. She knew she was in for a long talk.

"Ohhh..." Zara trailed off

"Exactly." Ajay teased, nodding lightly.

"Anyhow, just go and check your phone now now now. After checking it, you call me back cos as e dey now, I'm already planning how the party's gon be!!" Zara said, changing her accent at intervals. This earned her a hearty laughter from Ajay.

"You like stress o. Can't you just tell me what it is? Must I always check?"

"Aunty, you too like awoof o. Go and check your phone johh, and call me back right after....." Zara said and immediately ended the call, not even giving Ajay a chance to reply.

Anxious Ajay immediately turned on her data connection. After few seconds, tons of notifications flooded in, both from her vlog and her YouTube channel, making her phone ding continuously.

"My phone is going to hang at this rate." She muttered excitedly, picking up her laptop instead. She was used to the continuous inflow of notifications whenever she posted a video due to her three million subscribers. but this time around, the notifications were just more than normal.
