June 7, it was the crack of dawn at just 6:00am when Andrea's alarm buzzed off. Shutting down her alarm she sat up, with a slightly aching neck Andrea tried to ignore it. Her rustic themed apartment looked golden with the dawning light from the sun. The glass paintings and vases shined light onto the floor. Her fake and real plants made the room smell like flowers and more. Knowing Andrea had to get ready, grabbing everything from her luggage. Andrea did everything she needed to do that morning.
Changing into her outfit she was wearing a simple black on navy blue style. A black professional jacket, black top, with some navy blue pants on the bottom. Along with some simple, yet nice, shoes to match along with it.
Grabbing a granola bar to munch on she speedily wrote a note for Asher: "Hey, I have to leave for work. Help yourself to anything in the fridge. -Andrea". Leaving the note she tacitly left the room and walked through the foyer. While walking through the rustic-themed hallway, vines surrounding the walls, Andrea thought about everything, looking through her binder to hear her next project idea. A project idea she had to nail to get the advancement.
Today, she had to talk with her manager, to see if she would be receiving the promotion. If she did, it meant that Andrea would need to work less, but earn more money. It would let her have some type of summer, without working throughout the continuous week. Her company was only a 5 minute walk, the confabulation with her CEO was the only thing she needed to do today. Walking on the sidewalk, on her phone, looking out for anything out of the ordinary. After a while she made it to her company, walking in everyone greeted her. Andrea's work group hasn't seen her in months, no doubt they missed her dearly. Walking through modern themes throughout the entire campus. Plants and moderned paintings filled every wall they could see.
After looking around she finally made it to her manager's office, her manager letting her come in."Hello Andrea it's very nice to see you again" her manager said, walking up to her giving Andrea a hug.
She hugged back while sitting down in front of her manager, "It is very nice to see you again Annabelle". "Now do you have the project layout, this is for the Grand Sea restaurant. If we do a good job the company will get a major boost. Also all the money goes to you, they are paying a bunch for this" Annabelle said. Annabelle was a nice girl, however when it came to business, she was pensive. Andrea was put in charge since she was one of their best drawers and layout designers. Andrea knew if she failed in her task, she would pay dearly for it.
Going through her binder she found the project and the layout design. She had a couple of pages which had the measurements, along with the design. For the entire building, types of substances, along with the sketch of all the walls. To know exactly how they would look. The sketch was more of a beach themed, with waves painted at the front. A soft aesthetic surrounding the place. Andrea passed the diagram to Annabelle, so she could look at it.
Annabelle looked up with a grin on her face. "This is perfect," Annabelle said, slapping down Andrea's design on her desk. A smile grew onto Andrea's face as well.
Posthate, she quickly grabbed her phone and dialed the number, to call him into a video call. "You finally have them completed, you know, there is still a month," A stern voice said. It sounded dark, somber, and serious. "Why yes, see, a girl named Andrea Farm is one of my best and came up with this design" Annabelle said, showing it through the call. The man inspected it very closely, until finally saying something.
"It's incredible, I've never seen such great work, send me the blueprints soon. You did me well" The man said, ending the call. It was such a great relief and they were both very excited. "Amazing work Andrea, you have been promoted to assistant supervisor. You will be able to help others as well as continue your own drawings. Have a good day" Jasmine said. With them hugging once again Andrea was done for the day. The meeting took quite a long time, it was already 2 in the afternoon.
