"This is entry log one fifty five, Rose Thorne." She sighed.
"That's it I guess, our training is complete and we start taking on actual assignments. I don't know about this to be honest."
"Doctor Seraph has said that we've learned everything we possibly can from Orion. We've trained enough and that it was 'time for the world to see us'. Whatever that means."
"He hasn't told us what kind of missions we would be taking though. All of our training has been against another human. I don't think we even fought a Chimera yet. That's gonna bite us in the ass."
She leaned back in her chair, staring blankly at the ceiling. The tension she felt in her chest tightened and her breathing quickened. She shook her head and looked back at the screen.
"If we end up fighting a Chimera soon, and we fail, I'm gonna kick his ass for it."
She flipped the camera off and shut down the monitor. Rose crawled into her bed, staring at the bunk above her before slowly drifting off to sleep.
