The Anor leaped over Lucas' swing and landed two quick strikes of his blades to his back. The attack bounced off Lucas' armor but left a pair of light scratches on it.
"Oh ho ho! That almost tickled!" Lucas chuckled.
Rose thrusted her sword at the Anor. He barely twirled out of the way, only to be met by a vicious left hook from Devon. The blow sending him crashing into a large tank with a bright blue fluid. The glass shattered and the fluid spewed onto the floor. The Anor got back up and stretched his shoulders.
"You are not human." He muttered.
"No," Lucas said as he swung his axe over his shoulder. "We're better, superior even."
"Arrogant, are you not?" The Anor questioned.
"I don't even know the meaning of that word! So like hell if I care!" Lucas laughed.
Devon stepped forward and point his sword at the Anor. "It would wise of you to surrender. I'm sure we can come to a compromise."
"Will you cease your assault on this facility if I do?"
"No, but we will treat you fairly." Devon replied. "Doctor Seraph would want to question you about your involvement here I'm sure."
"Then I shall not. Either I kill you, or you kill me. Nothing will sway me from my task." He crouched low and his blades were engulfed in silver-green flames.
"Alright, your funeral." Devon sighed. "I tried at least."
In one quick, great stride, the Anor was in front of Devon with his blades poised to strike. Devon quickly brought his sword up and was pushed back from the force of the blow. His arms slightly shook from the aftershock of the Anor's attack.
Devon glanced down at his arms, then back at the Anor. Behind his helmet, Devon was surprised and astonished at the power behind the Anor's blow.
"Alright then." He said. He twirled his sword his hand and dashed forward, aiming for the Anor's neck.
The Anor danced around Devon's swing only to bet swept off his feet from Lucas swinging his axe like a bludgeon and striking the back of his legs with the flat side of his blade. Rose delivered a brutal kick to the right side of the Anor's head and he was sent rolling across the ground.
The Anor groaned and clutched his head, feeling a warm liquid coat his hand. Before he could recover, Lucas' foot slammed down against his back, pinning him to the floor. Lucas knelt down casually and asked him.
"Any last words?"
"I have none for heartless monsters such as you." The Anor spat.
"Wow, I almost felt a twinge of hurt from that." Lucas dramatically clutched his chest.
"Oh well." He dropped his axe and grabbed a fistful of the Anor's hair. He clenched his right fist and a blade violently appeared over his fist. He rammed the blade through the back of the Anor's head, the tip of the blade sticking out of his forehead by a good few inches, blood dripping off it.
He yanked his arm free and shook the blade clean. He unceremoniously dropped the Anor's head and got up, picking his axe up as well.
"Well! That was disappointing." Lucas said disappointedly.
"It was a three on one." Rose said. "Of course it was going to be unfair."
"Sure, but aren't the Anor supposed to 'mighty warriors' or somethin'? I honestly expected more."
"It doesn't matter now." Devon sighed. He secured his sword on his back and grabbed his rifle. "Let's continue with the mission."
