Rose's vision was assaulted by a searing, white light as she slowly opened her eyes. The small room resembled that of a hospital except for the room had no visible door that she could see. A small monitor beeped periodically, statistics and small scans flashing briefly on the holographic screen.

She grunted as she tried to sit up, her joints cried out against the sudden movement. She rubbed her head, glancing right to left. Devon laid next to her in a similar situation, a monitor beeping with a couple tubes connected to his arm.

A sharp hiss swiped her attention away from her brother, the wall to her right splitting and sliding apart, revealing an older man in a gray military uniform. His hair was short and white, making his green eyes stand out. On his right was a woman in a nurses outfit with a data pad in her arms. The man looked towards Rose, regarding her with uncertainty.

"Hello child, do you understand what I'm saying?"

"Um....yeah. Where am I? What's going on?"

"Check their vitals and get the boy up. We need to get things moving along." He said to the nurse as he turned and left.

"Yes sir. Hi, my name is Hela. I need to run a few tests on you just to make sure you're okay. But first, let's wake your brother up shall we?"

She watched as the nurse injected a clear liquid into her brother's tube, slowly waking him from slumber. He covered his eyes for a moment as he got his bearings. The nurse greeted him before checking him over. She repeated the process for Rose, clicking off her small flashlight with a satisfied sigh.

"Now then, let's go greet the others." She said, motioning for them to follow her.

"Um, miss, where are we?" Devon asked.

She paused mid step before she answered, a look of uncertainty on her face.

"We are on the third largest island of the Calypso Islands. You are at a facility of Orion Industries." She said, glancing at the security cameras.

"What's Orion Industries?" Rose asked.

"The Major will answer your questions once we reach the meeting room. So don't worry children." She said with a smile.

Rose grasped Devon's hand with a vice like grip, the fear creeping up from the pit of her stomach. Devon mimicked her sister's actions, trying to stay strong for her. The nurse tapped a few buttons on a blue and gray pad on the wall. Another door opened, leading them inside a large room with a few tables and chairs scattered about. Children occupied nearly all of them, they eyed the newcomers with confusion, the same as the twins felt at the sight before them.

"Go ahead and take a seat you two. The Major will be here shortly." The nurse said as she left, the door closing behind her.

They maneuvered their way to a pair of seats next to each other. As they did, another door to their left slid open. The same man as before along with another in a white, two piece suit, with blue trimming, entered the room. His jet black hair was combed to the side. His blue eyes surveyed the children in the room with curiosity and excitement whilst the other's was stern and he kept his eyes off of them.

"Hello children! My name is Major Solaris. This is Doctor Johnathan Seraph. You have been brought here to undergo a special type of training that will turn you all in to soldiers." The man in the military uniform announced.

"What do you mean soldiers?" A girl with messy blonde hair asked.

"You shall be trained by the best of the best, far surpassing the Academia's. You will obtain power far superior to magic and you shall lead this world to a golden age of peace." Solaris said.

"What about my dad? Is he okay?" A boy asked.

"I must apologize to all of you, your families have all been killed. We saved you and brought you here. The Chimeras, natural disasters, the Leviathans, they all took your families and now you shall rise above to keep the peace. I am sorry for your losses." Doctor Seraph said apologetically.

"However! We shall be your new family. And we shall take very good care of you all. So do not cry, use your emotions to fuel your training. So let us begin your, indoctrination."
