"What?! You've got to be kiddin' me!" Alyssa cried."Alyssa..." Rose started.
"Shut it! We just got back! Why the 'ell are we going back out so soon?!" She demanded from Devon.
"I don't know." He said, unfazed by her outburst.
"Then you need ta find out! You're the leader ain't ya?! Act like it!"
"Alyssa!" Rose yelled.
"No! We've all been out on constant missions with little breaks in between! We should be getting more time to recover! Thats common fuckin' sense!" Alyssa yelled back.
"That's enough outta you!" Lucas threatened.
"Oh?! Look at ya! Steppin' for ya lil' girly here! She's all grown up! She can take care of herself ya big oaf!"
"ENOUGH!" Devon bellowed. "I understand your frustration, Alyssa. But we don't have a choice. These are our orders and we will follow them. Do. You. Understand?"
"Tch, fine. But I ain't happy about this! This shit needs ta change!"
"You're just a crybaby. You can't handle a little combat and now you're throwing a tantrum!" Lucas accusingly said.
"Oh yeah?! I'll show ya a tantrum ya two faced bastard!"
"That's enough! All of you!" Hydros entered the room, silencing them all.
"What's the matter with you? You all need to take a step back, breathe and come to terms with your situation." Hydros walked around them. "This kind of behavior isn't going to do anyone and good."
"We know, it's just Alyssa who's acting like lil' bitch about it." Lucas grumbled.
"Stop it! Stop antagonizing each other! You are a team! Act like it!" Hydros snapped.
"We'll work on it Hydros, I-I promise." Devon said.
"I'd hope so. Now, catch me up on your next assignment. I want to know what you're doing." Hydros ordered.
...
Hydros contemplated what Devon had told him. The mission did seem like it would be difficult for them to complete, he feared it was something Seraph had purposely assigned to them.
"Hydros?" Devon questioned.
He sighed and made a choice.
"It seems like something you can handle. Although, it will be challenging."
"Really? It's gonna be like our last assignment? Those bandits were soooo challenging." Alyssa asked sarcastically.
"Who knows?" Hydros shrugged. "You'll just have to go and find out."
"But....we've never faced an enemy like this before." Eune mumbled.
"Yes, well, Warlocks are like that I guess. They can be a great asset or a major pain in the ass." Hydros said. "I'm sure you and your team can get the jump on her without too much trouble."
"That's not really fair to say, Hydros." Rose said.
"Sure, but having a little optimism can't hurt. Now, rest up while you can and I'll see if I can find out more about your target." Hydros left the room and the door closed behind him.
He could hear them start to talk again through the door. He sighed and moved towards Doctor Seraph's office. He passed by Solaris and Vic on his way there.
"And where are you going?" Solaris questioned.
"I'm going to talk to Seraph! He's mad if he thinks the kids can handle such an opponent like Larisa! She's a renowned Warlock for a reason, Solaris!" Hydros growled.
