Wei Ying learns a very important lesson.

Wei Ying whimpered, trying to wiggle away but he couldn't, not very effectively anyway.
Madam Yu chuckled darkly, still kneeling as she began to speak to him, "You know, I seriously doubted myself at first, merpeople haven't been seen for centuries, I figured we got rid of all the freaks but... you...are the very... very last of your kind alive..." She laughed, throwing her head back, "I've always hated you! I saw you as nothing but bad luck but... now..." She smiled... turning to her children who by now had been restrained by guards, Yanli, by two, and Jiang Cheng by five, all holding down a part of him.
She sighed, "I see I was wrong. I had a treasure at my fingertips all along... you..." She grinned, grabbing a fistful of his hair and turning him to face her making him whine in pain, collecting a tear and watching, with glowing eyes as it turned into a pearl upon hitting her hand, "Are going to come in very... very handy."
Wei Ying sobbed softly, "M-M-Madam Yu... p-please..." He begged as his very worst fear came alive.
Madam Yu just smiled at him, gesturing with her hand at the spare guards, "Take him to the dungeons." She ordered, standing from her kneeling position as the guards tried to do just that.
Wei Ying hyperventilated, flicking his tail whenever one came near, lifting his hands and burning them, "Stay away!"
And then, a burning, striking pain burst across his back and he screamed, wailing in agony giving the guards time to shackle him, his neck tied to his hands tied to a loose chain.
Yanli screamed as her mother retracted the sizzling purple whip, kicking and fighting in the Jiang Guard's grips, "Stop it stop it! LET HIM GO!" She pleaded, crying her throat sore, "Father do something!!!"
Jiang Fengman closed his eyes, lowering his gaze as Jiang Cheng writhed under the several grips, convulsing to try and get free and save his brother, "I'm sorry A-Li," He muttered gravely, sharing a look with his wife before his face hardened, "But creatures like A-Xian have no place in the world. If I were to try and help him, I would be dooming Yunmeng Jiang... I hope you understand, A-Xian."
Wei Ying sobbed, pulling at his restrained hands, "Please... I'm begging you... I-I'll give you all the pearls you want j-j-just l-let me go!" He wailed, desperately flopping his tail, fighting best he could but he was dragged to the dungeons nonetheless, the screams of his siblings growing quieter and quieter.
Madam Yu followed, watching as he was tossed into the dungeons, floor wet and cold, unpleasant, "If it escapes I will have your heads on a platter." She threatened, glaring at the guards who nodded fearfully.
