Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were taking a stroll around the mountains, taking in the peaceful view as the cool breeze swept across their features when Wei Ying tripped, twisting his ankle on the way down.

Lan Zhan gasped, catching him in his arms. As his arms snaked around the small man, his fingers curling around his tiny waist and alluring thighs, Wei Ying smiled.

When they were standing once more, Wei Ying wrapped his arms around his husband's neck, smiling as he laid his head upon his shoulder, "Ah," He sighed, "Lan Zhan... thank you." He said softly, his fingers entangling with Lan Wangji's soft hair.

Lan Zhan smiled slightly, "For what?" He questioned, "You know I'll always catch you."

Wei Ying chuckled lightly, "Just... for never letting me hit the ground..." He whispered before leaning in, his abs curled as he supported himself temporarily to kiss Lan Zhan's lips.

Lifting Wei Ying higher so he could relax, he bit Wei's lower lip before diving in like a parched mad man, once they pulled back, however, Wei Ying patted his chest.

"Alright, let me down now." He ordered but Lan Zhan shook his head, Wei Ying has never succeeded in trying to get Lan Zhan to put him down. Wei pouted, "It's just a twisted ankle I'll be fine!" He shook Lan Zhan's robes.

Lan Zhan shook his head, "No. Injured nonetheless." He said with a stoic face before turning and walking back.

Wei sighed, dropping his head so he could see the world upside-down as he wailed, "Leave it to me to get the most overprotective husband in existence!" He continued ranting about worthless things, not noticing the soft eyes and small smile directed his way.
