Chapter 46: The Coffee House
I decided on going shopping in downtown LA and Noah had to go to the studio to do some work there and then he said he'd meet me at the little coffee house at three. And I was perfectly okay with that. I had done some Christmas shopping all over LA it seems. I had shopped for my mom, Gavin, Alex, my dad, Colleen, Christopher and even for Naomi and Gretchen. And of course for Noah because he's my boyfriend I had just reunited with even though I know nobody approves of it.
I had shopped at a Christmas tree shop to find a few ornaments for our Christmas tree that Noah and I put up. And Noah has always been a Christmas person. Or so he says. And I had bought these elves because we needed them around the house. I had even gone to a store where I bought Noah a new camera because his camera he has right now is actually like five years old. And I actually don't care how expensive it was but I did it for him because I badly love him and he deserves this.
I was dressed like a French girl with a gray short skirt, yellow stalkings, black Mary Janes, and a yellow button down shirt that I left unbuttoned low to show my cleavage and I had a thin red scarf on and I was wearing a French hat and I was even wearing yellow nail polish on my fingernails. And I can see why wherever I would walk into, everyone would stop and stare.
There was this coffee house that Noah said he'd meet me at. And as I entered in, I heard jazz music flowing through the place and I had been looking at every table filled with couples and coffee being served. I smiled as I walked in, being stared at. I left the bags I shopped with in my car that's in the parking lot. And I guess all I have to do is wait for Noah to show.
I smelled the caffeine that was filled in the place and a couch where a bunch of teenagers were. I saw a few teens laughing and having their coffee together. And I just smiled staring. And I know waiting for Noah might actually cause some attention as they just see me looking like a French girl. I guess it hits my heritage because my mom is French, her ancestors came from France. And my mom has spoken French all her life and she became a teacher. And I been speaking fluent French all my life. And my dad is just Scottish and English.
The coffee did smell amazing and I need it. So when I ordered for myself because I was just persistent to have a coffee while I wait for Noah. But over in the corner of the café I had seen where a bunch of group of young adults were as in college kids were just hanging out and they were just laughing. But then I noticed the familiarity over there. I had seen Ty and Lara Jean they were laughing with their friends that I didn't know or recognize. Lara Jean had noticed me right away and she smiled widely over at me. She had left the group and she immediately ran over to me and happily she came over, embracing me.
"Emma, I didn't think I'd see you here." Lara Jean flashed me a smile, and I actually enjoyed seeing her as well.
"Yeah, is downtown LA at a coffee house the place to hang?" I laughed, trying to make it as easy and quite funny to actually find Lara Jean and Ty with other here with a lot of friends was amuse to me.
"Ty and I came here to hangout with a few friends before we go to Florida for Christmas. We leave at six so we're spending it with Ty's family." She told me, and I actually wondered if spending Christmas in Florida was too amusing quite like if they spent it in Georgia for the first time.
Lara Jean actually looked nice. She was stunning looking. And she was wearing a yellow mini skirt and a white blouse. Her hair is tied up and she looked quite like she was having the celebration of her life. She was having this fun with Ty and I actually enjoyed seeing them both here.
