Chapter 19: Be With Me
C H R I S T O P H E R: 🥀
The aftermath of being nearly killed again by Axel has just been a nightmare. But I had parked outside of the stupid driveway that was too luxury for my liking and my taste. And the first thing I saw was the mansion of the Golightly's which I have seen quite some time over the spring and summer. And I always hate sneaking into the property of them. But I felt like I just might die because of Axel threatening me. If Peach sees my face she will be worried more than anything which is what I don't want.
The Golightly's have their entire property kinda isolated. And very protected along with a good security system. But luckily Peach is a genius to actually shut it down at a certain time. So once I parked my car right outside the driveway that was gigantic I got out, walking in the stupid pouring rain. And then I had just continued walking going directly underneath the stupid gate that anyone can crawl underneath. And even though my ears were ringing and I felt like my eye was going to pop right out of my socket I actually managed to get on the other side in one piece. And certainly not that long after, I had made it to the lit up distant guesthouse that Peach was waiting for me. And when I had gotten there, I had knocked on the door, with the rain just pouring down the window of the door.
Peach had gotten the door, and she looked very fine. Probably as fine as she did earlier today. Peach was just waiting for me and it scared me to worry if she was angry at me for being here so late due to the interruption of Axel running me off the road. But her main concern wasn't that I was late. It was what happened to my face is what she was worried about.
I had just seen Peach dressed in a white tee-shirt that fell down to her knees. And a part of me wondered if she was wearing anything underneath. And when her eyes met with my face, her jaw dropped and she covered her mouth with her hand. And her eyes became extremely glassy. She looked exhausted.
"What happened to you?" She gasped, getting a good look at me while I was in the rain but she pulled me inside.
"Lara Jean's ex boyfriend isn't a big fan of me. That's all you need to know." I said, trusting her completely but she thinks that I don't trust her to tell her exactly.
"Well come here and let me fix it. I can make it better." She pulled me by the hand and she guided me into the bedroom.
Inside it is cozy and very quiet. There of course is a beautiful bed that is a million decorations with Breakfast at Tiffany's themed. And of course the light pink bedspread on the King sized bed. The story is this guesthouse is never used. Peach uses it to sleep when stressed and is in here to be alone. Her parents granted her the permission to be in it. And Peach decorated the guesthouse how she wanted it to be. There's even a fireplace and two loveseats. A coffee table and a nice pink rug. Peach spends a lot of time studying in here, I guarantee.
Peach had me sit down on the bed while she grabbed the first aide kit from the bathroom. And then I just felt anxious about throwing blood up on the carpet. But Peach stormed back in right by my side. She even had the stupid rubbing alcohol. And somehow everything was comfortable when she was right here after my ass was kicked by a guy who really just wants to kill me.
"What is it?" I asked. "What are you thinking about?"
She sighed, taking the rubbing alcohol, "it's just that you spend a lot of time with Lara Jean and then you end up getting hurt. Don't you think she might be a bad influence on you?"
When she put the alcohol to my skin it burned that I had jumped with a gasp trying not to yell which of course it wasn't that painful for me to scream. And she took care of my face being cured by her rubbing alcohol magic.
