Chapter 6- End of test series

"Please Joe, shut up" She sighed
"You don't talk to me like that" Root said irritated
"Then stop whining about the bloody pitch, it was the same for both the teams" She argued
"You-" Joe tried to say and all his team members started staring at him, they knew Jonny wasn't in the room but it's not like if Joe tried to say something to Kiara, Jonny won't come to know of it
"You what Root?" Kiara asked slowly her anger rising.
"Why don't you fuck off and go back to your oh so precious team?" Root said and the team members gasped in horror, scared that Jonny might enter the room any minute and hear this interaction.

"You better watch your mouth" Jonny said entering the room
"Bhai this doesn't involves you so please stay out of this" Kiara said
"Like hell and what in the world are you two doing letting him talk to Kiara like this?" Jonny asked looking towards Stokes and Jos who tried to defend themselves but couldn't

"Isn't it bad already that you have this jackass as captain that you want to argue with him?" Kiara said mocking Joe and there it was the response the team members were waiting for so expectantly that they never tried to stop their captain.
"How dare-" Joe tried to say
"No Mr.Root I had enough of you, I was very happy to wait outside for my brother but you had to invite me inside and then you started insulting my team out of nowhere" Kiara interrupted him
"So you have no regards for your brother's team" Joe commented
"I do alright, I have regard for my brother and for other players who treat me with respect." Kiara said and left the room.

"And tell me why you couldn't stop complaining infront of her?" Jimmy asked
"It's not my fault" Joe shrieked
"Do you even realise how fucked we all are if she tells this to Virat?" Jimmy asked
"It's just that you are my captain otherwise things would have gone very differently" Jonny said leaving the room and Jos decided to follow after him.
"Did we or did we not agreed to keep her out of this fucking series Root? She has all the rights to support her team, do I need to remind you that we come after them? Stop ruining our relationship" Stokes screamed pointing out the earlier discussion between the lads as Kiara was the only family who was supporting the opposite team or the only family present for the them at the moment.

"Kiara wait" Jonny called out
"Yes bhai" Kiara said stopping
"Please don't mind Root, he's just very-" Jos tried to say
"Passionate, I know, I have seen passionate cricketers but that stays on the field, that does not fucking come back to player's family" She said angrily
"I'll talk to him Kiara" Jonny said
"No he is your captain, I don't want you or the others to argue with him because of me" She said folding her arms.
"Notice how Stokesy didn't followed us?" Jos laughed
"He and his stupid little head" She said annoyed
"Look it's Morgs" Jonny smiled taking out his phone
"I am not telling him about this" She laughed
"Not telling me what? What happened?" Morgan called out
"You really called him? Hey Morgy" Kiara said taking the phone
"I dialled the number" Jos smiled

"Before that tell me what happened?" Morgan asked
"When are you coming here? I miss you" She smiled
"Only him? It's like I don't even exist" Mark whined
"Ofcourse they didn't told you" Morgan laughed
"Hey Woody! Shit you guys are at the airport" She exclaimed
"Yes we are Miss and we'll see you soon then you can tell me all about the person who troubled you" Morgan replied
"It's nothing really, I had a small argument with Mr.Root" She explained
"It's not really small if you are referring him as Mr.Root" Mark commented
"Not my issue he wanted to act like a little bitch" She shrugged
"Alright ask Jonny and Stokes to not get involved I'll sort it out" Morgan said ending the call.

"Yeah Kian missed you, so when you are done with your packing come to my room" She said
"Ohh it's done" Both of them replied
"Bunch of liars" She laughed walking with them.

"Why is it that you guys are always in my room?" Kiara asked entering her room
"Because we miss our kids and Kian is the only kid here" Ajju said
"I don't think I need to answer that question" Rohit shrugged
"Because mumma Rishab chachu hasn't played with me much" Rishab said in a high pitch voice playing with Kian.
"Well then you guys have to adjust" She said making space for the englishmen
"Mamu" Kian said hugging Jonny immediately
"I missed you too little guy" Jonny replied hugging him tightly
"To think they both were sleeping in the same room yesterday" Jos laughed

"Boys listen I-" Kiara paused remembering the English players were beside her.
"Kya hua?" Virat asked
"Tum logo ko abhi saare matches jeetne honge mujhe nahi pata" She said switching to Hindi
"Yeh kaisi motivation hai?" Rohit asked suppressing his laughter
"Rohi bhai voh angrez mere se bahut ladayi karta hai" She said
"Captain?" Rohit asked
"Haan usko toh mai.... kher mujhe nahi pata abhi series jeetni hi hogi" She reminded
"Why did you switched to Hindi? We both know you were talking about Root" Jonny asked
"Still your captain" She sighed
"But what he said was wrong" Jos said
"Not here Jos" She said signaling towards Virat and Rohit who were ready to pick a fight with Root without any hesitation.
"Sorry" Jos apologised remembering Jimmy's words.

"What did he say?" Virat asked
"Rishab can you make sure to annoy Root more on the field?" She asked
"I don't annoy players on the field" Rishab replied
"And I am not the team's social media manager, come on man" She laughed
"Aap tension mat lo mai dekh lunga" Rishab replied

"Bhabhi ko tang karta hai ruk bete" Rishab said seeing Root walk towards the ground after the wicket
"Haanji isko kaun out karega?" Ajju asked the group
"No personal matters, sirf out karna hai so be professional" Virat reminded
"Haan bhaiya bilkul personal nahi hai, aur bhi chutiye aa gaya" Rishab said slowly looking at Root
"Rishab" Virat scolded
"Aagaya mera wicket aa gaya" Ashwin and Axar said together
"Mera wicket" Siraj said taking the ball away.
"Tum log wicket lo mai zara iski leta hu kaafi bore ho raha hu" Rishab said walking towards the stumps.

"You called him what?" Kiara asked
"Nothing that was recorded on the stump mic" Rishab shrugged
"Listen to me Mr.Smartypants I was just kidding, you should not take personal matters on the field" Kiara reminded
"Aap aur Virat bhaiya saath mai decide karte ho juniors ko kya samjhana hai?" Rishab asked smiling
"Ek thappad lagega na" Virat laughed
"Jhut bol rahi hai isko bahut maza aata hai jab hum field pe ladte hai" Rohit said taking a seat
"Rohi bhai agar voh log batameezi kar rahe hai toh humari team ko shaant baithne ki koyi zarurat nahi hai" She explained
"Haan haan Mrs.Kohli tum toh yeh bologi hi" Ajju commented from behind

"Australia mai Siraj ko pata nahi kya kya bola tha, toh itna acha bhi mat bano ki unhe jawab bhi mat do" She reminded
"Why do you think I called him a temporary captain?" Rishab winked
"Proud of you" Virat said
"But you guys are not to engage till your captain is on the field" She said
"Bhabhijaan aap saara maza nikal rahe ho ab" Shubhman laughed
"Tu toh sledge karta bhi nahi chup reh" Rishab commented 
"Finally we won the test series abhi agli bhi?" She asked
"Aur kuch maharani?" Rohit asked sarcastically
"Jao senapati mere liye coffee leke aao" She ordered running away
"Teri toh" Rohit said running after her
"Sorry Rohi bhai" She laughed
