Chapter 40- How they met

"Why are you going back with him? Ab mai waha nahi aa sakta toh tu kuch bhi karegi" Rohit whined on the video call
"Bhai I'm going back home, there is a lot of stuff I need to handle before you guys come there" Kiara said packing her stuff simultaneously
"Virat bhaiya aap kar kya raha hai? Kuch toh bolo isko" Bumrah said to Virat, who was sitting in a corner
"Ohh he won't say anything, he is also angry" Kiara said

"Your number is busy so they are calling me now" Virat groaned picking up a video call by the English team.
"KIA WE ARE SO HAPPY" They screamed together
"No please-" Kiara tried to stop them
"YOU ARE STAYING WITH US BEFORE THE SERIES, IT IS GOING TO SO MUCH FUN" Mark said
"IT WILL BE JUST LIKE OLD TIMES" Jos said
"Fuck" Kiara whispered

"KIARA SHARMA" Rohit shouted
"THATS WHY YOU ARE GOING EARLY?" Bumrah shouted
"THIS IS NOT FAIR" Rohit screamed
"Rohi bhai I don't know what they are talking about" Kiara lied
"YOU ARE NOT COMING WITH US?" Jos shouted
"I am, can't you just shut up?" Kiara groaned looking towards the other phone.

"YOU ARE?" Bumrah asked
"Boom baby, just for a few days then I'll be with you guys na" Kiara said
"No this is not done, you were supposed to stay with us for the IPL, that's what you said" Bumrah whined
"I am always going to be with you guys on the upcoming tours" Kiara said
"But" Bumrah said making a puppy face

"No Jasi, you cannot do that to me, don't you dare make the puppy face" Kiara said closing her eyes to avoid the face everyone in the team blackmails her with.
"Go ahead, say that to his face now" Rohit said
"Bhai was so worried about what will happen after the tour, so I promised to spend the summer with him. These guys come in a package deal" Kiara explained
"How rude" Mark scoffed
"Shut up or I'll cancel the plans" Kiara said and the lads went on mute

"You didn't have to lie to us, ofcourse you can spend time with them" Rohit said with a strained voice
"Did he just?" Stokes asked
"Boom check Rohi bhai for a fever" Kiara said shocked
"I don't have a fever, since you joined ICT you have always stayed with us, it's good that you finally have a life outside our circle. Even if it's with them" Rohit said disgusted with the last part. 
"Ritsy bhabhi can you hug him from my side" Kiara smiled
"Oh my god, I love you for this" Rohit mumbled when Ritsy hugged him
"I love it when you guys act like you are getting a hug for the first time" Kiara laughed seeing Rohit's smitten expressions

"It certainly feels like it, can I get a hug too?" Virat said in a low voice
"Yeh nahi sudhrenge" Bumrah laughed
"Shut up Mr.Hotshot" Stokes groaned
"Ofcourse you can get a hug" Kiara smiled hugging Virat immediately

"Mumma look" Kian smiled entering the room
"Did you got dressed up by yourself?" Kiara asked and Kian nodded
"My baby is so big now" Kiara smiled
"Mumma hair" Kian said handing her the brush
"Kian you are going outside, you remember the rules right?" Virat asked
"No face" Kian replied
"Yes baby, don't show your face and don't take your mask off" Kiara said
"And?" Virat asked
"No running" Kian answered
"No leaving mumma behind" Virat said sternly
"Yes dadda" Kian smiled
"Dadda will miss you" Virat hugged Kian tightly, ruffling his hair

"No my hair, mumma" Kian groaned
"Kian dadda was saying something" Kiara sighed
"I-I miss you dadda" Kian hugged him
"He is my copy. I used to do this when Mahi bhai ruffled my hair" Virat laughed hugging him.

"Gosh I'll miss you" Kiara hugged him
"Then don't go" Virat said hopefully
"Cheeks" Kiara tried to say
"I know I know, it's hard, I got you back after so many years and these months spent with you feel like days" Virat said
"You'll guys be there soon and then we'll have a lot of fun" Kiara said.
"I can't wait to get back with you and then maybe we can finally get a date night" Virat whispered in her ears
"Shut up and get away from me" Kiara laughed pushing him away
