Give me a second chance

Chapter 33

I was having a meeting with my technical department head due to an urgent problem on the second floor. After two hours finally we had tackle the problem. I was heading up to my office when I happened to see my wife back silhouette opening my office door and I saw her losing her balance, before she could land on the floor I rushed to her side and took her in my arms.

She seems to have fallen unconscious.  And to my great surprise, there were two figures in my office, skyler and my secretary. Both were on my couch making out. None of them notice Lorie or me. I was mad because something happened to my wife and they did not notice anything.

"SKYLER YOU DOG, THIS IS MY FUCKING OFFICE NOT YOUR BEDROOM." and I turn to my secretary, "..... AND YOU ARE FIRED!!!"

"COME ON JAKE, don't be so harsh." Skyler was surprised of my sudden appearance and got up to make himself presentable again.

"Do you think it's a fucking joke, my wife is lying unconscious here, if you had pay attention instead of fucking my secretary, you would have notice, NOW CALL THE DOCTOR."

I carry Lorie towards the other room where there is a bed and lie her on. The company doctor arrived in not more than 5 seconds and check her out.

I was so damn nervous and mad if something happened to her. She is my precious treasure I can't lose her.

" Relax man, sister in law will be fine." Skyler was trying to console me but I was not having any of it. I just wanted to punch him so hard on his face.

"Sir, can I have a word with you." the doctor turned to me after examinating her.

"Yes sure, is everything alright?" I asked back nervously.

"Congratulation sir, she is pregnant."

I was speechless for a moment. Skyler patted me on my back with a big smile on his face.
"Cool I am going to be an uncle."

"Sky get the fuck out of my office."

"Okay I am going but I will be back after all I am going to be an uncle."

"Thank you doctor." I turn to him and walk him out.

I return back to the room seeing Lorie gaining conscious.
