My head was feeling so heavy. It took me a while to finally realise where I was. I saw Jake walking towards me near the bed. My eyes widened with shock when I realise what I saw inside his office. That was so embarrassing.
"What happened baby, why are your cheeks turning red?" he asked amusingly.
"Oh my God, that was so embarrassing, skyler and....." I face-palm myself.
Jake took me in his arm and we both laugh at the situation earlier.
"How are you feeling now?" he asked me.
"I feel much better now, what happened to me?" I asked back.
Jake face turned serious suddenly.
"Baby, I have something to tell you please don't freak out alright."
"Jake, you are scaring me now."
He took my hand in his and kiss them.
"Baby, am sorry but now I have to share my love with someone else too."
".. W-what do you mean?" my eyes were becoming watery now.
He did not answer me. He got up and turn his back at me putting his hands in his pant pockets.
"Jake... answer me!!!" i was feeling desperate now. He does not love me anymore. It's my fault I did not confess to him and now I lost him.
I began to sob loudly. Jake panicked and rush to me.
"Shhhh, don't cry...."
He then bend to kiss my belly.
"my dear wife, we are having a baby, you are pregnant."
He pecked my lips and winked at me. I forgot to react for a moment.
'Am pregnant, oh my god'.
I rush to hug him and hit him on his chest.
"I love you wifey."
"I love you too hubby."
His eyes widen on my confession. And he asked in a hoarse voice.,
"Say it again".
