They ask for wisdom,
What flag to follow.
What flag to seek, what flag to light.
Listen to my foolishness,
For fools are us all.
Choose no sides,
For they all fly flags tall.
What are they but shrouds cold,
For the martyrs that come home.
Fight for what's your own,
Not for the flags flown.
Fight for what's right,
For your right is their wrong.
Seek not morality from above,
But within in this world gray.
For those who claim it's black and white,
Won't set foot in a soldiers twilight.
And when they plant new flags where u stood,
And leave you to be worm food,
Remember this fools advice,
Never for a flag fight.
