Dignity

I saw a lion have a seizure.
What an undignified end.
I thought to myself.
To die without friends.
Old and alone.
This lion king.
Until I returned to the hotel.
And gazed upon the others .
Mounted on the walls.
So dignified, yet dead.
What dignity in death?
When their death is just show.
For people to see and slow,
And wonder the majesty of it all.
Ah the mighty lion king,
Mounted on that wall.
Ah the poor old lion,
Seizing on that lawn.
Such an undignified death,
I mean what's better than a wall?
