The dreamers

Let them sleep, the dreamers;
For they are far away.
Much they will see but,
We do have to stay.
Let them see above the clouds,
Where thunder strikes the same.
And we will watch wet in rain,
For this our life to tame.

Let them sleep, for what have they,
To lose, when they have naught.
All who lost was us awake,
Those who for sleep sought.
Let them be for what are they,
But memories and rot.
Time for us is time today,
Tomorrow it will be naught.
