I wish you could feel,
The comfort I feel,
In this dark air conditioned room,
This cool breeze soothing my wounds.
I wish I could make you feel,
This safety that I know wont stay,
For these moments are lifes pay,
For enduring it day by day.
I wish you could see,
The stars that I would see,
On another planet far away,
In another time, another way.
Underneath a light tall and white,
Lying down, the sky in sight,
I wish you could see through me,
What I've always wanted to be.
