In the eons past death bygone,
Forgotten will float your atomic tomb.
In an uncaring universe lost,
Vast and magnificent, for one so small.
Insignificant deemed itself, the human.
Faced with this ocean of stars,
Never knowing they are the universe itself,
Caring for its own scars.
Witnessing itself, bruised nebulae,
Scorching suns and freezing dark.
Marveling at itself, caring,
A caring, uncaring world.
