Every Now

I see a dark and cozy world,
Filled with rot.
One where time is naught but dust,
And life tarries not.
I see moonlight spiral stairs,
Leading where?
I know not, just this,
This world of bliss,
Is one I wish upon,
Every now.

I see waters deep and clear,
Filled with lead.
Beaches of broken glass,
Trees wreathed in nooses.
A place where all can rest,
Even the dead and rust,
Where I can maybe sleep,
Every now.
