Moon 2: Best friend?

I tied my hair into a ponytail and wear my ice transparent round glasses and gloves.

I look myself at the full size mirror.I'm wearing a maroon long sleeve off shoulder pair with black squarepants.And a black flat shoes.

It's 7:00 o'clock in the evening at nagtataka parin ako dahil ang tagal naming makarating sa Moon Academy.

May magaganap na dinner with all passengers here kaya dapat formal ang dating.

I didn't bother to wear any beauty products in my face,just a small snowflake pair of earring and a necklace designed snowflake–my parents gift.

I sighed for the last time at kinuha ang sling bag ko saka isinukbit  sa balikat ko.I guess any seconds merong kakatok sa pintuan ng cabin kaya uunahan ko na.

Naglakad ako patungong pinto at binuksan iyon and there she is, iyong matinis na boses na babae- wearing a smile and a black tube dress above the knee and a black sandal, also black make up and lipstick. May hawak siyang pouch bag which is color pink.

But the pouch's color didn't match her style at all. What's with her?

"Oh hi! I was just about to knock but you opened it. So,let's go?"  aya niya.

"You're not a crew here. Who are you?" Malamig kong tanong sakaniya. I must be wary, hindi ko alam kung sinong mapagkakatiwalaan dito o hindi. Well, I don't have plans to make friends here either.

She gulped in a second and smile shyly. "I-I'm one of the passengers at magkatabi lang tayo ng cabin so I fetched you. D-Don't worry I don't have any intention to you!" Depensa niya. Tumagilid siya upang makadaan ako palabas. I locked  my door and glanced at her.

She smiled shyly at naunang naglakad. Weird?

Tahimik kaming naglakad sa maliit na pasilyo ng lumiko kami at naglakad ulit.May nalalagpasan din kaming mga katulad namin na naglalakad.

This must be the pathway through dining hall.

"Well,hehe. Ang tagal nating makarating sa Moon Academy 'no?" pambasag niya sa katahimikan na di tumitingin sa'kin. "Hmm."  I answered sapat na kaming dalawa lang ang nakakarinig.

"Are you feel excited?" nasisiyahan niyang tanong.

"No." Tipid kong sagot.

"I'm Blessary Prada,a fire user. I'm 18 years old and I came from Favia Village. My hobbies are storytelling,eating, sleeping, playing and painting. I have one younger sister and older brother. My parents are far away. Ang mga kapatid ko ay naroon din. It's just me na gustong mag-aral sa Moon Academy. I have a lot of friends; Bea,Cynthia,Novel,Crush and 99 others............." she keeps talking and talking about her life that makes me feel irritated. Can't she feel that I'm not interested?

"How about you?" Pagtatapos niya sa introduction niya. I did never understand any of her words.

I gave her a sighed and spoke uninterestedly, "Devon." sagot ko lang,napatigil siya sa paglalakad kaya napatigil din ako.Kunot noong lumingon ito sa akin.

"Devon.......Yun lang? Wala ka nang ....sasabihin?" tila di makapaniwalang tanong nito, I patted her shoulder, "Yes. And don't introduce yourself like that. It's annoying" I calmly said at inunahan siya  sa pagpasok sa dining hall.Well,gladly saktong sa pintuan ng dining hall kami tumigil.

"Hey,Devon! Wait!" sigaw nito na ikinabuntong hininga ko. I stopped for a bit at mabilis itong umangkla sa braso ko. She smiled at me; satisfied. Napangiwi na lang ako. Hayss~

I roamed my eyes around in the big dining hall.There's only one and very long rectangle table with a different class of dishes and couples of chairs, at may mga katulad naming nakaupo na din doon. Marami rami na din.

There's a big chandelier on the top at sapat na yun para mailawan ang buong dining hall.

Nagpatuloy ulit kami sa paglalakad patungo roon.

"Wow...." bulalas ng kasama ko.

"Devon,can I ask?" napatingin naman ako sakanya at bumaling ulit sa harapan.  "Shoot."

"Why are you wearing gloves? Nilalamig ka ba?" tanong niya na ikinabuntong hininga ko. "I used to wear them all the time."  napatango naman siya sa sagot ko.

"You know what, your pale but beautiful,may dugo ka pa ba?" biro niya at the same time ay namamangha. I sat on one of the vacant chairs and gave her a sarcastic smile. "Why are you so nosy? Shut up for a while." Bulalas ko at inayos ang salamin ko. Umupo naman siya sa tabi ko.

Since we're not complete,Blessary keeps telling me her life,I just answered it with a lazy nod  or hummed.

I can't complained dahil nga nakakatamad din magsalita at pinabayaan ko na lang.But seriously, I'm not compatible with noisy people like Blessary that super was active.

May umupo naman sa harapan ko and it was the hoodie man named Crush. I'm just curious kung bakit ayaw niyang ipakita ang mukha niya. Sumunod naman sa tabi niya si Novel na naka seethrough dress above the knee wearing a black sandal.Sa loob nito ay naka tube na black at cycling na black.Well pati make up black,ano pa bang bago?

"Hi Crush! Novel!" bati ni Blessary at kumaway sa dalawa,nakatikim tuloy ng irap galing kay Novel.

"Shut up your mouth,Blessa! Or I'll burn you!"  Pananakot ni  Novel ngunit natawa lang si Blessary.

"I'm a fire user too,Nov. Baka nakakalimutan mo?" Saad nitong katabi ko na ikinatikwas ng isang kilay ni Novel at masamang tumingin sa'kin.

"Is this your new friend,Blessary? A nerd?" Panlalait nito sa akin na ikinabuntong hininga ko na lang. Why do I suddenly felt that I made  a mistake?

"Yes! She's my NEW BEST FRIEND, Nov. She's quite calm and good. Don't look at her like that." depensa ni Blessary at hinawakan ang kamay ko na may gloves,napatingin siya sa akin at ngumiti ng maliit.

This common quarrel between friends makes me sick. Can I leave immediately and sleep?

"Huh?! So pinagpapalit mo na ako sa nerd na yan,BESTFRIEND!" she hissed while throwing some dagger look on me,well I don't bother.

Kahit patayin niya pa ako sa isip niya,I don't care.

And wait–what..... Bestfriend? I'm going to puke on what I'm hearing.

"Kalimutan mo nang bestfriend mo 'ko. I have Dev. now,Nov." mapanghamong tugon ni Blessary at bigla nalang lumiyab ang mahabang lamesa na ikinagulat naming lahat at agarang napatayo at lumayo. Tila walang gustong madamay sa gulong magsisimula pa lamang. Si Novel at Blessary na lang ang nandun at nakaupo.

Throwing dagger looks to each other. What a shame,tsk.

"Okay then. From now on,your not my bestfriend anymore,you are my rival. My worst enemy!" sigaw ni Novel at mas lumiyab pa ang mesa.

Well,no one can stop them. It's Novel and Blessary.

Fire vs. Fire?

Are they sick? Of course, no one's going to win.
