Moon 10: A Stranger

Bumuntong hininga ako at mabilis na pinawala ang yelong tinatapakan namin. Someone's coming.

'Oh oh oh oh'

It's that voice again. Now, what's her deal?

"You look troubled."

Ah. I literally forgot this guy's existence.

"It's none of your business." Pabalang na sagot ko.

Sumimangot ito at bumuga ng hangin sa ere. "Someone's coming. I'm leaving." Paalam nito at tinalikuran na 'ko, bago pa siya tuluyang umalis ay sinulyapan pa ako at binantaan.

"You'll regret entering Moon Academy."

Then he vanished.

"Devon! Where are you?!"

"Ang ingay mo Blessary! Magigising mo ang mga ligaw na hayop."

"Devoonnnn!"

"There she is!"

"Devon!"

I sighed and turned my back. I saw all of them, they're worried and restless, especially Blessary who's running to me while crying.

What a baby.

"Why did you seperate with us?! What if something happens and you'll get hurt?!" Alalang sambit nito nang makarating sa kinalalagyan ko.

"I'm fine. I just need some time to think." Sagot ko.

I looked at them. We're already down to 20 and the trials is still ongoing. Can we hold on until the end?

"Next time, magpasama ka. Para alam namin kung sino ang wala o nawawala." Novel ranted and rolled her eyes to me.

I ignored her words while Blessary hissed at her, starting their nonsense quarrel again.

We all gasped in shocked when the ground shake and the sky light up brightly.

I looked up and gasped when a bunch of meteor rocks were about to fall from our place.

"RUN!"

We ran as fast as we could but the bad luck sticks on me.

I tripped and fall to the ground.

"Devon!" They shouted in unison but it's too late. The meteor is already above me.

As it shines brightly.

*BOGSSHH!!

I barely move my body. I can't see clearly but I saw my colleagues lose their conciousness.

Before everything went black, a pair of white shoes is approaching my direction.

I slowly opened my eyes. I can already feel that I'm now in a safe place.

I'm lying to a soft bed with a manly scent around my surroundings.

What happened? And who brings me here? Where's the others?
