GOT7
*insert special guest star audience clapping here*

"bro, what the heck is going on with the bros?" yugyeom tsked, looking at the hotel tv screen in front of him blasting the bts conference clips. he was bended on his knees with his head staring at the screen like a little kid watching cartoons.

"you're gonna fry your eyes like that," jay b scolded him as he side glanced him from the mirror against the wall.

"yeah bro, get away from the screen," mark joked. he was laying down on the hotel bed, trying to look at the screen that was blocked by yugyeom's big head.

"whatever," yugyeom shrugged and made his way to a bed. "it just sucks how jeongguk is gone and so is the rest of the guys. i thought they had better security than we do."

"it's not even about the security, it's the fact that he disappeared in a blue cloud. everybody knows now that it wasn't jeongguk practicing a magic trick," jay b explained. after glancing at the members through their mirror who were lost in thought, he decided to reveal something he'd been holding the past few days. "hey guys?"

"wassup?" mark and yugyeom asked at the same time.

"don't tell the other members yet, only me and jinyoung know, but apparently other companies and idols are taking this opportunity to get higher up for the music charts and get more sales. with the attention away from bts' talent, they are either trying to highlight their faults or exemplify their own talent. apparently jyp was asked to team up with another company."

mark sat up, "wait what do you mean highlight?"

"there are a couple news articles circling around using the apparent bighit link to jeongguk's disapearance as just another reason their company is so 'bad'. they're trying to dig up old scandals of bighit and create rumors."

"but i mean they should be okay,it's probably going to get drowned out anyways, I heard armys are spamming a lot these days," yugeom reasoned, though his face was still etched with concern. "my twitter feed is filled with random stuff so the bts stuff isn't paid attention to."

"maybe but more people than ever—army or not—know about bts and since they don't know who they are, they are more susceptible to these lies. they'll believe anything."

"guys, do you think this could effect the economy?" mark asked. "like think about it bighit and bts have been making a lot of coin for the country."

jay b paused from combing his hair and thought it through. "true, but it's not like korea needs bts for it to run—"

"—but if all this is bringing attention to the many faults of this industry, who is to say that it won't bring attention to all of us and our scandals, other groups. i mean it's great to shed light on this stuff because i have friends who are suffering in silence from these contracts, but some groups can't afford to get canceled over something that may or may not be true," yugyeom responded.

the group were in silence attempting to understand and grasp the severity of their situation. how is it that the disappearance of one person could lead to such a series of events as unfortunate as this...or at least unfortunate for some people whereas for others this is just the beginning of a plan to destroy the reputation BTS had created.

COMPANY X

the ceo of company x—this company's name is literally "company x"— swiveled around his office chair (or throne, as he liked to call it), after sporting a satisfied grin from the complete chaos occurring on his tv screen. the gasp of the reporters as detective jones , a vital pawn in the CEO's game, revealed fake evidence made to incriminate the infamous bts and its company.
