THE PRECINCT

cop lisa took a deep breathe before entering detective jones' office. they've returned from the conference hours ago and had his men and women busy with searching for new seemingly incriminating information. he looked up expectantly with hungry eyes. the boys had escaped and it made his case easier, but he needed to catch them before the stupid armies get in the way and prove their innocence. they've already done so much to try to find out what the sudden piece of evidence had been. he needed the public on his side...well on the bosses' side.

"sir, we've managed to retrieve video of when jin and jhope escaped the hotel. should we release it?" she asked with nervous eyes.

"finally, yes, of course, gosh. there's been some articles scheduled to release soon that would be supported by this. contact our buddies at 'community news' radio station to do a section on this. have our liason write up a general script," jones instructed, noticing the hesitant look on her face and the urge to roll her eyes. "do you have a problem with what you're being asked to do?" he exclaimed suddenly. she jumped at the sound and quickly shook her head. "good...now get out."

jones rolled his eyes and sat down at his computer. he pulled up the final draft of the very articles that would be published. the boss had requested he had looked over them before the media would publish so if there were any errors he'd have someone to blame. jones was not in any hurry to make any mistakes.

COMPANY X

the boss, or ceo of company x, braces himself as the same incompetent man as before stands before him with a look of shame. they've failed again.

"what is it this time?!"

"w-well, jones has gotten his people to use the media and soon articles and radio stations will be talking negatively about BTS...but the armys, the ones from the taxi cab. they've escaped...," the man winced, "and they left our men bruised and injured."

"bruised?!"

"y-yes, sir—"

"—and how is that possible?! don't tell me those kids 'danced' there way out of there? again?"

"no but—"

"ridiculous! give me something that will actually help you imbecile!"

"the men took photos of themselves."

"selfies? and i care because? gosh, i should just get rid of your already—"

"—no, sir. i was thinking we use this to our advantage. it aligns perfectly with the story we want to tell, t-that BTS are no good."

the ceo looks up and narrows his eyes. with a wave of his hand, the idea is immediately approved. BTS, capable of violence against our precious men in blue? oh what a headline that would be.

NAM AND JIM

namjoon didn't understand why, but the simple task of putting away jane's groceries filled him with such joy. gosh, how simple of a task but so liberating at the same time. it made him feel normal. like a father coming home from work or a son helping his mothers with groceries.

maybe it was perhaps because of the decor in jane's house that just screamed quiet family living. except she didn't have a family anymore, so instead, he just heard echoes.

"oh my goodness, namjoon," jimin gasped as he speed walked to the kitchen to namjoon, holding a baby onesie in his hands. "this is like the exact same one i was looking at at the store! isn't it adorable?"
