THE BECKS
yolanda said a quick prayer in her head as she pulled up to the driveway of her house. there was no way she could prepare her parents for what they were about to see, their literal idols. she could barely handle it herself! but she was in total older sister mode right now and she didn't have the time to fawn over these talented dudes. but if all the kids go inside first, hopefully it will soften the blow for her parents.
she put the car in park and cautiously looked out the windows before turning to face her siblings behind her.
"okay guys, everyone slowly go inside the house as though nothing is wrong. make sure the house looks nice and clean, get a comfortable spot for our new friends here to sit and please lock the 'you know what' room. all older siblings take the younger siblings to their rooms and then meet back to the living room with our parents and explain the situation. i don't want them to freak out when i take them inside."
the siblings looked amongst themselves and got the gist. slowly but surely they exited the car and went inside their house.
yolanda then opened the garage and parked the car inside so they can go in through the garage door instead. as she put the car in park she closed her eyes and sighed until there was a silence in the car. a very awkward silence because as she was thinking to herself how the heck she was going to do this, she became increasingly aware that there were two handsome humans breathing the same air as her in the car. min yoongi and kim taehyung. it just hit her now that they are alone together, waiting for her direction. her heart skipped a beat and she didn't dare open her eyes. they're probably so uncomfortable right now!how am i gonna do this?
yoongi and taehyung shared a look though they were thinking the same thing. suddenly yolanda interrupted them with a sudden clap of her hands. the boys looks to see her eyes were still closed and it looked like she just had a "aha!" moment.
i got it! i'm going full older sister mode. business over fun, absolutely no fangirling, and no smiling, limited conversation with the boys and eye contact, and act like everything is fine...yes that seems like a plan.
yolanda finally opened her eyes and adopted a stoic look over her face then turned to see taehyung staring at her. her eyes widened and avoided his gaze. plan failed already, eye contact just made!
"okay! let's go," she quickly exited and gestured to taehyung and yoongi to exit the car along with her and the three made their way to the garage door.
before she opened the door, she abruptly stopped, leading taehyung straight into her back and bumping his head to the back of hers.
"ow," he mumbled and took a step backwards bumping into a box of what sounded like plastic objects. he glanced down to see it was full of what looked like broken knock-off bangtan bomb light sticks.
