"MMHM you smell really good," mia noted as jeongguk walked into the living room. but her choice of her words made her choke on her saliva and she looked up at an awkward jeongguk and sheepishly smiled. "sorry i'm weird like that. i don't know why i say that to people i'm just—anyways! you fit my dad's clothes pretty well."

jeongguk didn't believe that at all. her dad's clothes were long and large and not in the stylish way he often wore them. but he still managed to make it work.

"thank you but your dad's a giant," jeongguk pointed out, quietly praying that wouldn't be offensive.

instead mia laughed and exited the kitchen, gesturing jeongguk to follow her to the living room 3 feet away. it was then when jeongguk noticed the worn out dora shirt and matching orange sweatpants she wore. he wanted to question the appearance of that cartoon again but instead ignored it.

"you could sit," she said and carefully watched as jeongguk sat down on her couch.

"comfy," he chuckled, caressing the soft pillows next to him. it's been a while since he's been in a homely environment. he felt his heart grow heavy for a moment as he thought about his mom and the delicious breakfast she would cook him in middle school. she would tell him he needed to eat well to grow stronger and win all of his competitions. he realize now he would need that attitude to figure this situation out. plus his stomach was growling.

"i know," mia chuckled then reached the coffe table in front of her and grabbed the remote. "here. you can watch some tv while i get your breakfast. i don't know what your favorite breakfast is so i'm going to show you 5 different type of cereals and you can pick whichever one your want. i mix them sometimes because sometimes one flavor enhances the other flavor and makes like this tasty bomb in your mouth-ughh so good—but anyways you can just put whatever on the tv. i just figured we filled out bellies up while we figure out the circumstance."

it was silent for a moment while jeongguk carefully read the subtitles before him. at some point his lips quirked up in a small smile and mia was glad she caught it. she didn't want to see him sad or disappointed at any point like it seemed it did a moment ago.

he must be thinking how weird this is, mia wondered and before she could further doubt her efforts, jeongguk looked up.

"do you have cheerios?"

mia's eyes lit up, "honey nut?"

jeongguk raised a brow at her, "yes?"

mia gasped, "yes yes! they're my favorite. especially since they're gluten free which really works for my because I think i might be allergic to gluten but who knows? anyways i'll get you your cereal. what kind of milk? i'm mildly lactose intolerant so we have almond, lactaid, and whole milk"

"whole milk is fine, thank you" jeongguk chuckled.

"cool cool," mia said and swiftly turned around, smiling to herself.

i'm about to give the jeon jeongguk cheerios!

"so that's dora and her friend boots, he's a monkey because why not?" mia pointed out, gesturing to the cartoon on the tv screen with her nose. "she just goes on adventures while teaching kids spanish."

jeongguk nodded like he was gaining useful knowledge then proceeded to munch on his tasty cheerios.

"and that fox is swiper because he swipes stuff, or he steals stuff. i used to be so scared of him as a kid. he was so creepy but now that i look at him, he kinda looks like marc anthony," mia noted, narrowing her eyes at the orange tiny fox on the screen.
