11:58 am, two minutes until midnight.

bts is live now! JK: last tour stop in America celebration!

MIA gasped at the notification she received, immediately pressing it. vlive took her out of the wattpad app where she was reading a very action packed fanfiction on this starry night.

jeongguk popped up on the screen, leaning towards the screen to read comments.

"aw man, looks like it already started a few minutes ago," mia grumbled, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "this is what i get for taking to long to shower ugh."

she liked to screen record the vlives in case they read her comments so she could have the memory with her forever.

nonetheless, she began to screen record his vlive.

suddenly he whipped out a wine bottle and flashed a cheeky grin at the audience like he was ready to get drunk.

"wh...at is he doing?" mia asked herself, pushing her brown hair with purple highlights out of her face. "is that even allowed on vlive?" she shrugged, seeing as he looked really excited to be drinking. he had the cork skrew and everything.

that was the only thing mia knew about drinking. wine and corkscrew. literally nothing else. it didn't interest her especially since she was only 19 and couldn't drink until she was 21. even if she was 21 she probably wouldn't drink since it went against her family's morals and she respected that wholeheartedly.

jeongguk began twirling the wine glass in his hands making mia nervous he was gonna drop it. luckily he didn't. he began showing different ways of pouring wine until he actually poured it.

"he looks super excited that's it's hilarious," mia said to herself. she was the only one awake in the house and she doubt anybody would be able to hear her.

jeongguk mentioned beer and grape and orange juice.

mia jerked from her bed, "ooh! i actually understand that!"

since she was underage and also didn't own a lick of wine, she would have to drink some grape juice to join him in "cheers!"

he was grinning so cutely and did something on his phone. he lifted it up to show a timer of one minute.

not caring about the sleeping fam, she dropped her phone on her bed and scurried out her room and into the kitchen. she poured herself some grape juice that she loves so much and gets made fun of for. her brother calls her "granny prune juice" because he's just that stupid and annoying.

"sorry mom," mia whispered sheepishly at the few drops of grape juice on the counter and left the kitchen anyways.

carefully, she tiptoed back to her room so she wouldn't drop her cup and sat back down on her bed.

jeongguk exclaimed, "make some noise!" on her screen.

"oof i'm just in time," she said.

her cup was almost dripping in her small hands as she waited for jeongguk's instructions.

"you ready for...uh...drinking with me?" jeongguk asked. his smile made her heart flutter.

mia almost screamed. "his english is really good," she held it in.

"1 minute. 1 minute," jeongguk said, referring to the timer that had just ended.

mia sighed, analyzing every pixel of jeongguk's face. she was honestly touched by jeongguk's devotion to fans. he never failed to make a warm and friendly environment on vlive that made every fan from any part of the world connected even after their long American tour that just ended.

plus this was the only place she would ever be face to face with him. it would be very difficult to pay for tickets to concerts and to korea just to meet them. she's never even been outside of the country. she was only 19, there was no way she could do that without a friend or something!

however, that desire to meet them was still there. she yearned for at least a conversation between one of the members and to get to know who they are.
mia never confused bts for perfect people and knew that they too had flaws. it made her all the more curious to know who they were behind the screen.

despite the fact that they managed to put everything she's ever felt into beautiful words, combined with unique melodies, mia had other reasons to want to meet them and it was something she thought about frequently.

even if she would never meet them, mia counted on the constant daydreams in which she'll accidentally bump into bts or the rest of her favorite groups at the airport.

mia sighed and smiled at jeongguk.

"i wish you could see me, jeongguk. so we could really drink together. i mean not drink drink but like talk a lil' you know? i mean it would be so cool—oh he's starting!"

the wish had come from a deep yearning to meet one of her favorite stars but also this desire to become close with this person she had become really curious about. what would it be like to have a conversation with him, you know?

jeongguk leaned forward with his glass to clink it with the audience's.

mia did the same with her large glass of grape juice.

and though jeongguk has planned to use the actual wine bottle to create that clinking sound, it wasn't the wine bottle that made the sound.

clink.

mia felt a hand brush against hers and she jerked her hand back.

jeongguk felt the same and his eyes widened. he looked at the camera the same time mia looked at the screen with her shocked look.

"wait is he thinking what i'm thinking?" she asked herself. she knew she was being crazy. she was just tired from all those times of staying up and binging bts videos. there was no way...

jeongguk leaned forward. "wait, i can see you."
