NAM AND JIM

jimin frantically looked at his surroundings, wondering where in the heck the red-haired fangirl who's name was "kayla" came from and if anybody had followed her here.

he turns to the side to rely on his english-speaking leader only to find his mouth agape, searching for words, his eyes searching kayla's in disbelief.

"h-how uh...how did you know we were here?" namjoon asks rubbing the back of his neck, eyes darting back and forth on her face.

"i just told you! i followed you," kayla explains. she takes a step closer from the road, making namjoon flinch in his seat on jane's lawn. "after you guys escaped the hotel, my team of armys left and i decided to follow one of the cars that left. i was confused when i couldn't find any of you guys. saw a van leaving and thought it was one of your body guards with information. so i followed him. turns out it was you the whole time and the police are the bad guys."

namjoon nodded in understanding though so many thoughts flooded his brain. he turned to jimin and quickly explained the situation in korean.

"why are you so nervous?" jimin asked him with furrowed brows and a hushed voice. there was something in namjoon's eyes when he looked at this mystery girl he didn't understand.

"um...uh...i'll explain later," namjoon stammered. he looks back to kayla, finding his heart skip a beat when they locked eyes. her charming smirk was somehow annoying and captivating at the same time. it was exactly the face he saw in all the letters she sent him. "um, so you said you could help us? how is that possible?"

"long story short is i'm rich. my family and i own multiple houses, buildings, and the like that we can use to keep you guys stay safe and help you figure out how to get out of this mess. i happen to have the perfect place to hideout," kayla explains. "and don't worry, i work alone, with the help of some trustworthy armies who i'll contact soon. so nobody who shouldn't know will be tracking us."

"you said you had a team of armies?" namjoon asked, picking apart her every sentence in his mind, evaluating the situation.

"yes," she laughs charmingly, "come on, now. you should know by now what we're capable of." she held a lingering stare at him then winked, "especially me."

ARMYS

"guys i think we should call kayla," aiden announced, wiping the greasy salt from his lips.

after the armys hasty escape from the bad men, they gathered back into the taxi driver's cab parked in the mcdonalds's parking lot near the exit of a random highway. they were unsure of where to go next. especially when jhope and seokjin might be near.

"kayla?" michelle asked nervously. "don't we all collectively not like her?"

"but it makes sense. we literally had to beat up a bunch of fake police guys after they kidnapped us. and of course because the universe isn't on our side, the news just announced that it was bts who did that when really it was us! she's rich and we need all the help we can get. it's gonna start getting dark real soon," jesse exclaims, then proceeds to take a long sip for her coke.

"oh right, i heard she has a secret army shrine in one of her houses. she's got her merch, signed autographs, some outfits twice wore on their american tour, a prototype of black pink's original light stick, a dance dance revolution kpop edition, and a state of the art karaoke machine," an army piped up.

"not like we ever got invited to those," jesse adds with an eye roll.

"let's cut her some slack, we're just a bunch of nobodies who like BTS and joined her online discord and decided to join her unofficial official fan club," aiden shrugs. "we didn't have to listen to follow her especially since she's self-centered and rude. but she has resources and passion, i'll give her that."
