TAEHYUNG was right.
army were smart enough to figure out that bighit in fact were clowning them by saying it was all a magic trick. they figured the same thing as the bangtan boys and were not having it.
the hashtag #justice4jungkook was trending on twitter.
fans demanded bighit to admit that what actually happened was bigger than them and admit they lied or they would be forced to investigate themselves.
all everybody had on the "kidnapper" was that it was a girl with curly brown hair and purple highlights with round glasses. and army was convinced it was a crazy "fan" that used "witchy" powers to kidnap the poor maknae.
after reading all the theories, the members of bts, their manager, staff and the helpful detective jones were almost convinced of that.
they knew this was something supernatural after the hours of analyzing, tracking any paper trial jeongguk could have left behind, watching, and talking with vlive's tech support. they knew this was out of their hands. but they wouldn't go as far as to say that the person who kidnapped jeongguk was a witch.
what if he wasn't even kidnapped? instead it was a magic phenomenon that just happened at this time for no particular reason?
but that doesn't make sense because that girl was in his reflection. that girl was an accomplice, maybe even the suspect.
these type of thoughts pondered in each one of these men and women's thoughts as they awaited the results of the fingerprints. the police weren't as blessed with technology as the fbi so the process of identifying fingerprints through the large database was in fact a problem.
"how are we going to keep this under wraps?" namjoon asked mr. kwon in their native language in the manager's room.
"i'm not sure nam. every army has an idea of what the kidnapper looks like. a-and this is beyond our countrol. this is supernatural and it freaks us all out that something like this can even happen. and out of all the people in the world this...thing chose to take it chooses jeongguk," mr. kwon expressed his frustration, shaking his head. "you know maybe that girl is a freak like army are saying."
namjoon chuckled. but in reality he was just as nervous. he has seen and heard of all the things crazy fans could do but never had it occurred to him that one would use magic to take one of their precious members. it was unreal! this feeling of uncertainty was heavy on his heart, making him feel as pained as mr. kwon.
they were two men with big responsibility and each felt equally as helpless as the next.
"we might just have to announce this girl as a suspect. even if magic is a part of this, which is still crazy, she was at the crime scene and we need to find her," namjoon pointed out.
"my thoughts exactly. we find her, we find jeongguk."

detective jones finished his phone call with his communications team back at headquarters and addressed the members of bts, their staff and the rest of his team.
"we've got an apb out to other police agencies with a more clearer picture of the girl from the boy's reflection. we suggest your media and communications team get ready to make an announcement concerning the situation. it's best to admit that jeongguk is in fact missing by uncertain reasons and the girl is an accomplice."
everyone nodded and the detective revealed more details about how this would all take place as well as the reward that would be given to whoever finds the girl and the system they would create to distinguish fake sightings of the girl and real sightings of the girl.
the fingerprint was a dead end and was no someone in the database. but seeing as the fingerprint was small, there was some question about the age and size of the girl. that was also part of the details that the detective revealed.
when everyone departed from the hotel's lobby and went to their usual place, hoseok pulled namjoon aside to talk to him as they went upstairs to their floor.
"namjoon i can't stop looking at these articles online," hosoek sighed, gesturing towards his phone that was held tightly in his hands. "the things they're saying about him and his disappearance are too...scary. some are even saying he could be dead. like we were fine yesterday. everything was okay and now he's gone."
namjoon pulled hoseok's sweater to stop him from moving any farther.
"don't listen to them. jeongguk is alive and we're gonna find him. whoever that girl is we're going to find her and get her arrested!" namjoon exclaimed, looking in hoseok's shaking eyes with determination as if his strength will transfer into hoseok.
"i hope we do. i can just imagine how scared he could be. he says he's tough but he's a little baby," hosoek silently chuckled.
this made namjoon smile. he was right. jeongguk may be physically the strongest but in a dangerous situation he's a little fearful.
"yeah he's a big baby but he's smart. he'll figure out a way to get out," namjoon reassured his friend.
hoseok nodded as those words seeped in his brain. he needs to believe it. but somewhere else in his brian he couldn't help but wonder: what the hell is that girl doing with him?
