Zayn walked out of his bedroom and stopped when he saw Brian in the kitchen

"The fuck are you doing here?"

"Can't I see my son early on before he needs to head off"

Zayn snorted and poured himself a cup of coffee, giving Brian his back "No. You can't."

Brian rolled his eyes and shook his head, as Zayn turned towards him

"Seriously, why are you here? It's too early to see you"

"I wanted to ask when you plan on dropping out"

Zayn hummed then shook his head "I don't"

"What?"

"I don't. I plan on going to university, getting my degree, getting my masters, then I'll join the company"

"Zayn, all of that is-"

"Brian. I didn't say this because I wanted your opinion. I was telling you" Zayn looked at the wall clock then at Brian

"Now get out, I need to lock up before I leave"

"Did you see your family this weekend?"

Liam tensed, gripping the sleeves of his shirt before he gave Louis a small forced smile "Yeah.... We had lunch"

Louis rubbed his eyes "Happy to hear, I still don't understand why you moved out"

Liam chuckled, looking through the side mirror before changing his lane "It's my job Lou, I preferred to live alone... Just in case"

Louis raised both eyebrows "You bring people over?? Alone?? In your apartment?!"

Liam laughed, shaking his head "Nooooo!! I just prefer it that Way, that way I'm not costing my parents so much than they signed up for"

Louis chuckled "Moved out since you were 16, living the life of an almost Millionaire"

Liam looked at Louis through the rear view mirror and smiled, he had so much he wanted to say, so much he wanted to scream out, so much he wanted to ask for

But he just said-

"If I ever die, they go to you"

Liam heard Louis laugh and he smiled

"Nothing will ever happen to you Liam"

Liam just smiled and nodded

I hope nothing ELSE will happen

Zayn wears rings, four of them, one of his thumb, one on his middle, one index finger all in 1 hand, and in his other hand, he's wearing a ring on his middle finger

And Liam was just looking, one of the rings seemed familiar but Liam just shook his head

"Like them?"

Liam blinked and his eyes met Zayn's, Zayn raised an eyebrow and Liam quickly looked away and at his hands

Their teacher isn't in class, so they didn't have anything to do.

But they weren't allowed to roam the halls as the principle would be walking around

For his own reasons.

Liam shrugged and looked at his hands "Dunno...."

Zayn stayed quiet then knocked on the table, Liam looked and met his eyes again

"It's a yes or no answer."

Liam looked at Zayn's hands, then pointed at the one on his middle finger

"It looks familiar"

Zayn seemed to have frozen "It looks.... Familiar??"

Liam nodded with a smile "Yeah. Just can't figure out where I've seen it"

Zayn stayed quiet then slowly nodded, before he rested his chin on his arm that's on the table and looked at Liam

"Tell me a little bit about the new you"

Liam smiled "There isn't much new things about me"

"Tell me, and I'll be the judge of that"

Zayn and Liam were talking when Louis came up end dragged Liam away

Zayn frowned, their conversation was still going

But Liam looked over his shoulder end gave Zayn an apologetic smile

Zayn sighed and rubbed his temple, he put his books inside his lockers then turned around and faced Harry

Who was a few lockers away

"What did you do?"

Harry frowned "Why do you think it was me?!"

Zayn rubbed his temple "That isn't your locker, you're fidgeting, and the last thing we talked about is Louis"

Harry stayed quiet as Isaac ran past them into the direction Louis and Liam are in

Harry groaned and Zayn sighed

"I was actually enjoying some form of human interaction"
