Louis was walking across the hall but stopped in front of Liam's room and peered into the slightly open door
They were both shirtless.... Louis didn't want to know if they were wearing anything else or not
Liam was seated on Zayn's lap, laughing while Zayn rubbed his back while saying something that made Liam drop his head back in laughter
Louis shook his head and kept on walking

Harry was looking at him, as his fingers slid through the piano tiles without hesitation.
Once Louis was done, he turned to Harry with a smile
"Good enough for you Mr. Styles??"
Harry started to clap and cheer, Louis chuckled and turned back towards the piano
"I did a small mistake-"
"I couldn't catch it"
"The judges will."
"Is it that-"
"HARRY"
Harry cursed under his breath and stood up "I have to go. I'll see you later Lou"
Louis sighed and nodded as Harry rushed out "Bye H...."

"Do you WANT another hospital visit?"
"But Liam is our friend and we need to make sure he's happy!!"
"He is happy. Just look at him"
"Well I can't look at him right now. He's in his bedroom and the door is closed"
"Isaac. I've never seen Liam smile as much as he smiles when he's with Zayn."
"But Louuuuu"
"Not another word."
Isaac huffed "Fine"

Harry stayed quiet while doing the work he needed to do, Landon was sitting texting someone on the phone
"H, can't you do it later?"
Harry shook his head "No, I can't. I've been saying I'll do this later all week, I can't say I'll do it later anymore, I have to hand it in tomorrow"
"Can't you just ask one of your friends for help?"
"They're my friends, Landon. Not my homework help machines"
"Whatever you say H"

Harry looked at his aunt and uncle who've raised him and frowned seeing them with Brian
"Is everything alright?" He said making them all turn towards him
Brian cleared his throat then stood up "I'll be going" He said before walking out
Harry looked at him leave then turned towards his aunt and uncle
"What's going on?"
They hesitated "Darling, it's-"
"I know what happened to mum" Their eyes widened and they turned towards him fully "If it has something to do with-" Harry cleared his throat "With my father. I'd like to know"
They sighed "He's.... He's out of jail Harry"
Harry tensed "What.... What now? And why did Brian come over to tell you that?"
"He works closely with the police.... And he knows how to catch someone like him"
"How?" They both stayed quiet and Harry gritted his teeth "HOW?!"
"Zayn! He needs Zayn. But Zayn hasn't been talking to Brian or giving him the time of day"
Harry stayed quiet for a moment "Why did he tell you that?"
"Because.... Brian needs you to convince Zayn to do this."

"You need me to do.... what?"
"Help.... Brian"
Zayn sighed "Harry, I can't work with Brian when I'm sober."
Harry frowned and nodded "Yeah.... Sorry I forgot"
Zayn stayed quiet, looking at Harry then rolled his shoulder "I have no promises then when this is over, there won't be 2 body bags"
Harry perked up "I would hug you if you let me!!"
"Not necessary"

Louis noticed that with Zayn's sudden disappearance, Liam crawled into a tight knit cocoon and refused to do almost anything
Liam would turn the ring around his finger then curse and stop
Louis tried to ask what was wrong but Liam would just shake his head, smile and say
'I just got so used to having him around it feels weird when he isn't here'
It also worried Louis when Harry started to constantly look over his shoulder
He'd shiver and Liam seemed to be glaring at Harry
Liam never glares at anyone....
Louis saw Liam angry one day at home (the apartment) when he asked Liam what was wrong he angrily replied with
'I lost the ring!! I promised him to keep it safe and I lost it'
Louis found it in a second.... It was by the sink. Liam took it off to do the dishes and forgot to put it on
Louis knew Liam doesn't like to break promises
He once ran in the rain while he was sick to meet Louis at a cafe because he refused to cancel
But Louis refused to believe this is just about a promise

Louis ran his fingers through Harry's hair while Harry laid on his lap
They both heard a noise and turned towards it
"I'm going out for a walk" He mumbled, pulling the hood over his messy hair and walking out
"I'm worried about him...." Louis looked at Harry "I'm worried about you"
Harry frowned "Me??"
"Yeah"
"Why?"
"Liam doesn't glare.... But he's grown a habit to glare at you"
Harry cringed and sighed "I hope.... The glaring will end soon"
