Louis quietly fiddled with his thumbs then ran his fingers through his hair
His performance was in 24 hours exactly
He was.... Alone
Because Harry was supposed to be here with him for his last practice but Landon didn't let him come
He sighed and stood up, he picked up his backpack and was about to walk out when his phone rang
When he saw it was Harry's name he quickly answered
"H?"
"Hi Lou"
"What's up?"
"I uhh.... Won't be able to be there tonight"
Louis stayed quiet and bit down on his bottom lip "Will.... Will you be able to make it tomorrow morning??"
"Yeah!! Yes of course!!"
Louis smiled weakly "Ok H.... I'll see you tomorrow"
"Take care Lou!!"
Harry hung up and Louis pocketed his phone
He looked back at the piano at the centre of the stage with a frown
He sighed and walked out, giving the guard standing a smile

Harry looked at his phone then at Landon
"Is he ok with it?"
Harry smiled and nodded "Of course he is, he's Louis"

"ISAAC!!"
Louis looked between Isaac and Liam.... And the plastic doll that's laying face down on the floor with the battery being out
Liam rubbed his face and turned to Louis
"Remind me again. Why do I deal with him?"
Louis smiled and shrugged "Ask yourself that"
Isaac let out a 'tsk' and sat down beside Louis
"Cactus isn't important right now. The next 24 hours are the most important hours of Louis' life and his little brother crying will be an unnecessary distraction"
Louis and Liam both gave Isaac the 'What the fuck?' look
He rolled his eyes and pulled Louis into a hug
Louis (who didn't realise how tense he's been) relaxed against Isaac
"Thank you" Louis mumbled
Liam sat down on Louis' other side "You'll do great. You'll be fantastic!!"
Louis smiled and laughed when Liam hugged him too
Though Louis was smothered between 2 people who have been there for him through thick and thin....
He can't help but feel his eyes water when he wished they were someone else

It was sudden when everyone appeared
All of them patting his back, taking him into hugs and overall sharing their excitement
Zayn was behind all of them, he gave Louis a simple nod, then walked towards Liam and kissed his cheek
