"Don't step on the white carpet" Zayn said hitting someone on the back of the head
"I-I'm sorry"
Liam walked into the sitting room and smiled "You're back!!" His eyes landed on someone beside Zayn and his smile fell
"He's stepping on the white carpet!!"
Zayn sighed "Yes Liam. I know."
Liam's eyes widened "He's getting away!!"
Zayn turned around and looked at the guy who's trying to run away "That's just pathetic"
He whipped a gun out and shot the guy with a bullet going through his head
"Awww.... Poor Herald, all he ever wanted was freedom"
Zayn blinked at Liam "You asked him for his name?"
"No I named them"
Zayn walked towards Liam and cupped his cheeks, Liam smiled and put his hands on Zayn's
"I feel like I have to say this...." He pressed a soft kiss to Liam's lips and Liam smiled wanting one more but Zayn pulled away
"I love you"
Liam smiled "And I love you...." He stood on his toes and kissed Zayn, Zayn chuckled and kissed Liam deeper but Liam pulled away
"I'd love to stay.... But I have to go, I'm meet up with my sister"
Zayn's smile fell and an unimpressed look came across in his eyes
Liam laughed and kissed Zayn's cheek before he rushed out
"I LOVE YOU, I'LL SEE YOU LATER"
Zayn looked at Liam run but couldn't help his smile as Liam got into a cab
He then remembered.... And looked at the dead body that's oozing blood

Liam smiled looking at his sister holding his niece before he looked at his nephew
"I can't believe I have a niece and nephew...."
Roo (his sister) laughed tiredly "They're exhausting to take care of but I don't think I'd ever change a thing...."
Liam smiled before he shook his head and cleared his throat "You never told me their names."
Roo's eyebrows shot up "I didn't??" Liam shook his head "Sorry.... This is Estrella" She said looking at the girl then rubbed the boy's cheek "And this is Connor"
Liam smiled and nodded "How old are they?"
"3 months" She rushed out but Liam shrugged it off
"Want to hold her?"
Liam tensed "I don't-" He stopped, looked at the little girl who is looking at him before he smiled and nodded "Yes please"
In a second, Liam was holding his niece who found an interest with his finger
"So uhh.... You're with Zayn Malik?"
Liam absent-mindedly nodded "Yeah"
"Must be nice"
Liam furrowed his brows at her tone and turned to her "Excuse me"
She sighed and shook her head "Nothing.... I'm just tired"
Liam frowned "What happened?"
Roo sighed "Hospital bills.... Connar has a calcium deficiency"
Liam frowned "Do you want me to help?"
She shook her head "I can't agree to that!!"
Liam looked at Connor who was seated in his car seat with his eyes closed, the only indication of him being alive is the slow rise and fall of his chest
Liam looked at his sister and smiled "I want to help"

Liam nibbled on his bottom lip "You aren't mad, are you?"
Zayn shook his head while tinkering with his bracelet "Not at all."
Liam frowned "Why do I feel like you are?"
Zayn stopped and looked hesitant for a moment before he said-
"It's not angry love... It's the dumb idiotic child in me who wishes someone cared about me this much"
Liam's shoulders fell and he walked towards Zayn
Zayn put the bracelet down and they both hugged
"What you'll be doing for him-"
"Connor"
"What you'll be doing for Connor is an amazing thing Liam, and no matter how much I dislike-"
"Hate"
"Dislike-"
"Despise"
"Dislike" Zayn said in a final tone and Liam smiled with his face in Zayn's neck "I can't let that anger leak and reach kids who aren't responsible"
Liam pulled away and cupped Zayn's cheeks
Zayn looked into Liam's eyes, the sunset shining in on them, it's the reason Zayn actually likes sunsets now
Zayn pushed a curl away from Liam's face and Liam leaned into Zayn's touch
His smile fell when Zayn's hand spasmed against his cheek
"What-"
Zayn pulled his hand away and turned towards the bracelet "It's nothing-"
"Zayn Malik, don't you fucking dare say its nothing. Tell me" Liam said holding Zayn's elbow
Zayn sighed and slumped down on the seat and pulled Liam on his lap
"Brian.... Is creating a new torture technique" Liam tensed
"And- He's been trying it on you??" Zayn nodded "What is it?"
"Electroshock therapy"
Liam balled his fist "I'll-"
"Do nothing. Brian is already holding so much over your head"
"I don't care about what he has against me when he's hurting you!!"
Zayn took a deep breath and put his hands on Liam's face "I'll deal with Brian. You, focus on your studies and your niece and nephew"
Liam wrapped his arms tightly around Zayn
"I hope Brian fucks a bottle of hot sauce"
Zayn laughed and shook his head before he kissed Liam's temple
Liam smiled and kissed Zayn's jaw
It went quiet before Zayn tightened his arms around Liam's waist
"Thank you for existing sunshine, I don't think I would've made it this far without you"
