Zayn walked in and Louis closed the door behind him
Liam looked at him while gripping the blanket
"Did you sleep at all?" Liam whispered and Zayn shrugged
"I'd like to think you slept enough for the both of us"
Liam smiled as Zayn sat down beside him, Zayn took his hands and massaged his knuckle
Liam bit down on his bottom lip and whispered "Say something"
Zayn sighed "There are only a few things that I don't know, and-" Liam nodded, Zayn opened and closed his mouth before he shrugged "One of the things I'm sure about.... Is that-"
Zayn stayed quiet and Liam frowned "Is.... That what?"
Zayn sighed "You're the only person in this world who I know no matter what, everything will change"

"He said that?"
Liam sighed and nodded "Yeah.... What change does he mean? Good or bad?! I was too fucking worried to ask because I don't want to hear the word bad"
Louis frowned "What if he meant good?"
"Why wouldn't he just say.... Good"
"Because, he's Zayn. He doesn't know how to express his emotions"
Liam laughed and looked at the doctor "How's it going over there?"
The doctor smiled "Everything seems to be healing just fine"
Louis looked at the doctor who was taking the wrapping from around Liam's leg "You know.... Could be an avenger since they all seem to have issues"
"They don't!"
"Hammer guy is cocky, butter knife guy is always sad, iron guy is too sarcastic, big smash green guy has anger issues, and buff guy needed drugs to get strong"
"Don't ruin marvel for me!"
"I'm not I'm just telling you the truth. And spider killer woman-"
"Black widow"
"Ok whatever, she has major issues, she saw mouthless kids!" Liam rolled his eyes and shook his head "Then there's hammer guy and butter knife guys sister, LIKE! How many kids does one eyed old dude secretly have?!"
"Loki is adopted"
"He looks more like his sister than his brother looks like his actual sister"
Liam huffed "Stop hurting my brain"
Louis laughed under his breath and then Liam turned to him with a playful glare
"Now wait a minute.... Are you saying I have issues?!"
Louis smiled and poked Liam's cheek "Don't we all Payno?"

Zayn held Liam and Liam clung onto him
Zayn didn't smell of anything but a fucking hospital.... Liam didn't know how to feel about that
He looked up and saw Zayn's eyes closed while he took deep breaths with his nose in Liam's hair
The only indication that he's awake? The slow yet steady rubbing of his hand on Liam's back
"The change you talked about?" Liam whispered and Zayn nodded "Is it.... Good or bad?"
