Liam poked Zayn's cheek and Zayn turned towards him half asleep
"You're dressed...." Zayn mumbled rubbing his eyes
"I have an open camera test, I'll be in your study, ok?"
Zayn nodded and buried his face into the pillow. Liam smiled and got off of the bed
He walked out of the room and quietly closed the door before he walked into Zayn's study
He sat down on the desk and opened his laptop, taking a deep breath before he opened the link that was sent to him

"Will I ever meet him?"
Liam shrugged, sipping his coffee "When you drop them off, even then it's a maybe"
Liam finished his test with 4 minutes to spare, when he left Zayn's study, Zayn had already gone to work and Liam had to meet his sister
She nodded then rolled her shoulder "Do you want to hold Connor?"
Liam's eyes widened "Are you sure?"
Ru nodded then took Connor out of his seat and gave him to Liam, Liam carefully held him
"He's.... Smaller"
"Yeah.... I was worried about him too, but he's getting better, the doctor said he's stronger than he looks"
Liam sighed "Are you sure? He looks a lot more sick than the last time I saw him...."
"It's your eyes playing games with you, I promise he's fine"
Liam bit down on his bottom lip then nodded
"Tell me what do you and Zayn have planned for when you have my kids for a week?"
Liam laughed and shook his head "Nothing, they'll move into the room closest to ours and we'll be careful"
"Can I.... See the room they'll be staying in? When I bring them over of course"
Liam shrugged then nodded "I guess so"

"I can tell her if you don't want her here"
Zayn sighed "I know you will, but I'd assume that any caring parent would want to see where they'll be leaving their kids for a while"
Liam nodded then and kissed Zayn's cheek making Zayn smile
"Don't kill anyone"
Zayn put his bracelet on "No promises, Don't do anything stupid"
Liam laughed "No promises"

When Liam first got his prosthetic, he always thought performing sports flew right out the window
But one thing that has always calmed him down was swimming, as soon as he was cleared to start swimming again. He did
Swimming for the lengths of the pool while letting everything out always calmed him
Most he wears his prosthetic, but on the rare occasions, when there's someone trustworthy enough close by, he'd swim without it
Niall stood in the corner of the room, monitoring Liam's swimming before Liam got out and sat on the edge
He pushed his hair out of his face then wiped his forehead "Hey Niall"
"Yeah?"
"Get me all the information you can on Tony"
Niall froze and furrowed his brow "What? Why?"
Liam turned to him "I just.... I have questions about Tony, and his family in total"
Niall slowly nodded "I'll.... I'll do and find what I can"

"Who in the ever loving bullshit got close enough to your neck to bruise you?!"
Zayn rubbed his neck "A gun" He croaked out, his voice raspy
Liam frowned "What happened?"
"Can.... I speak?"
Liam turned to other Liam and nodded
"Him, Derek, Isaac and I all went to a warehouse to get back stuff that got stolen from Brian, but when we got there the place was full and this bald guy shot Isaac but missed and his bullets finished he threw his gun.... At Isaac exactly when Zayn ran to drag Isaac away, he got hit in the throat.... But he got them all back!! He lit the place on fire with all of them inside!! "
Liam blinked then turned to Zayn and smiled "I knew a part of you cared for Isaac"
"His organs are useful." Zayn said in a bored tone
Liam looked at Liam "Staying here for the night??"
"No actually, Stiles will come to pick me up, me him and Theo will go a movie"
Liam nodded, then looked at the blood covering Dunbar's clothes and cringed "I hope they get you a change of clothes...."

"Zaaaaaaaayn"
Zayn sighed with his eyes closed "Yes Zombie"
When Liam stayed quiet, Zayn opened his eyes and started to run his fingers through Liam's hair
Liam smiled looking over his shoulder, his smile being shined by the moon "Water is a solid, liquid and gas" Zayn stayed quiet for a moment, just running his fingers through Liam's hair then cleared his throat
"Whaaaaat?? Is it?!! No way!!"
Liam laughed and nodded "It is!! It's normal form is liquid, when boiled turns into gas when frozen turns into ice-Solid!! This bitch doesn't have a favourite form so Water took every single one of them!!"
"Waaaaw, with this kind of information you can teach science- Chemistry in specific even"
Liam fake gasped "Zayn Malik is that sarcasm!!"
"Noooo waaaay, 100% truthful" zayn them covered Liam's eyes and Liam turned back ahead "Now sleep tight, I have to meet Brian early in the morning"
Liam laughed quietly as Zayn buried his face into his shoulder
He looked into the mirror at the corner of the room and smiled
He picked his phone up slowly and looked at Zayn who had his eyes closed
He put the camera in the direction of the mirror and turned the flash on
And took the picture
Zayn huffed, taking Liam's phone making Liam laugh out loud
"Give it back!! I need that photo as my wallpaper!!"
"Tomorrow" Zayn said putting Liam's phone down beside his own on the wireless charger before he pulled Liam closer
They went from spooning to cuddling
Liam's face in Zayn's neck and one of Zayn's arms under his head while the other around his waist
Holding him impossibly close
Zayn pressed his lips to Liam's temple and Liam smiled. As he slowly fell asleep Zayn whispered 3 words into his ear
"I love you"

The next morning when they woke up, he did set the photo as his phones wallpaper
If anyone opens Liam's phone, they'll see a photo of a grinning Liam and Zayn who was reaching to grab the phone, with what looked like it was supposed to be an annoyed look but was actually a smile
Liam loves it, he loves it more than any words can express
Because while the world saw a version of Zayn
This Zayn.... Is just for Liam
