Two weeks later. Alex has joined Ben, Gwen, Rook, and Kevin on their road trip around the universe.

*Gwen Tennyson*

" Can you teach me to do dark magic?" I asked Alex. Alex was in the process of doing her weekly karate, jujitsu, and taekwondo practice. She had the first  level blackbelt in all three, but she still practiced every other day. (Those days,  she did gymnastics, and agility training.)

Alex was the the process of flipping over, kicking and punching at Ben and Kevin's, whose only jobs where to dodge and stay alive without using superpowers. Alex sighed, and did a backwards cartwheel, kicking Kevin across the face.

Both of them where failing miserably at dodging her. Neither of them had time to talk, or focus on anything other then watching out for her attacks. Alex, however, had no problem talking.

" Why do you want to learn?" She asked. I sighed. Unfortunately for me, Alex was a master at reading people's thoughts. Literally. She told me yesterday at dinner that she had a natural ability to mind-read.

But she didn't like calling it that, insisting that the mind was not a book. It was like a very complicated peice of technology. I've figured more about the dark arts from her then I would've from any of my magic books.

" I....uh, just want to learn it for you know, knowledge. You can never learn too much about anything." I instantly knew I had made a mistake. Alex frowned at me. She held up her hand.

" Break time boys." She waved her hand in front of her face and an electrical fan made of violet mana appeared, blowing cold air on her face. She walked up to Ben and Kevin, who where red and breathing hard.

She kissed Ben on the cheek and walked up to me. " First of all, there is most definitely such a thing as knowing too much. There are things in my head about dark magic and the realms that would make your head explode.

Literally, nobody else is supposed to know it, security measure, anybody who knows it explodes. And anyway, Danny is a nice kid. In fact, he's a lot like Ben. D. D. PRIME is totally head over heels for him," she said. I raised an eyebrow.

" Remind me who that one is again?"

" She's the one who absorbed some of my more hidden negative personality that comes with knowing all the dark magic. She can't do magic, I took away her alien side and made her 100% human so she could be with the people in Danny's world." I stared at her.

Alex sighed. She dragged Kevin, and Ben over so they could join in. " I am going to explain what it means to be a magical duplicate one more time, so nobody is confused. They are NOT clones.

They are actually a a lot like twins, literal gentic copies, not a magical manifestation. This is a thousand times harder then a clone spell, because these are living, breathing replicas of the different parts of your soul.

You can't erase them, there is no getting rid of them once they exist. The core parts of my personality have been implanted into people that identical to me in every way except their personality.

Using dark magic has effects on the people that use it. Recklessness, vanity, extensive use of sarcasm, a more darkened outlook on the universe, the ability to feel good when getting revenge; it all intensifies the tiniest amount every time you use it. And I use it a lot.

The darkest parts of my soul, those where amplified enough to become a core part of Duplicate Darkness's personality when I created her. Then, I used an unbreakable age reversal spell on them, and implant their personality into people that will eventully become a part of the hero's life later. Get it?" I nodded. Ben and Kevin did as well.
