" So, Juniper Lee is basically Jake Long, only a girl with a little brother instead of a little sister, right?" Tucker asked. Alex nodded.
" Exactly. But I should still probably go over the details before we go in. June wants to be an astronaut, she's a young teen, and she's not exactly like Jake. Her back story is a tiny bit different," she said.
" She wants to be an astronaut huh? Does she like NASA?" Tucker asked. Alex facepalmed.
" Guys, I already told you about this. Almost all of the magical duplicates I created love space. One of the reasons I orginally fell in love with Danny was the fact that we both loved NASA and both wanted to go out and explore the universe," she said.
" Just keep going," said Kevin.
" Anyways, June had the powers inside her since birth, but they didn't completely activate until she was ready for the burden of magical protector to be passed on.
" This sounds exactly like Jake's backstory," said Kevin.
" Just be patient. I'm getting to it. She given the title of Te Xuan Ze, therefore allowing her to be the protector of the hidden world of magic," she said.
" Just like Jake was given the title of Amer -ican Dragon," Kevin said. Alex shook her head and pinched the bridge of her nose.
" It is June's duty, as her city's magical protector, to keep the balance between good and bad magic and keep the world of humanity in the dark about it's magical counterpart.
But, because of her young age, June faces many struggles in balancing her normal and magical life. Plus, keeping her powers a secret from the family members who don't know the secret, and her friends, who will never be allowed," Alex said.
" You mean like how it was always a balan -cing act for Jake between his normal life and his secret job protecting his city from bad magical creatures," Kevin asked. Alex groaned.
" She was also given superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, durability, reflexes, and the ability to see past the magical veil that separates the human world from the magical world. These powers are necessary to beat the magic and supernatural abilit -ies of all the monsters she has to face," Alex told us.
" Sounds just like Jake and his Dragon powers," Kevin said.
" Would you shut it?!" Alex cried. Kevin crossed his arms. " Anyway, when she's not involved in some magical craziness, June acts just like any normal pre-teen girl. She hang outs with her friends and loves doing sports, especially volleyball and skate-boarding," she continued.
" Exactly like Jake...," Kevin muttered. Alex's eyes glowed brightly and turned neon green. I gulped.
" Oh, you've done it now," said Tucker. Alex walked straight up to Kevin and grabbed him by the shirt. Kevin was at least eight inches taller, and a year older, but he looked absolutely terrified of Alex Chase.
Her eyes changed from neon green to a kind of electric scarlet I had never seen before. When I say electric, I mean electric. There were powerful flashes of electricity crackling through her magic irises, like they were some kind of hoop-shaped power core.
" Kevin E. Levin, if you don't shut up about Jake Long and Juniper Lee being exactly the same this second, I will give a example of exactly how good I am at necromancy, and all of the most vengeful spirits of the Underworld will be sent after your sorry soul for all eternity, got it?"
Alex said all this in one breath, but it was still totally menacing. Her fist was glowing with dark purple energy that seemed to be wailing from the torture of being used. Kevin looked like his life was flashing before his eyes, which it probably was. Alex could be really terrifying when she wanted to be.
