(Remember that Jenny is the name Alex gave Adrien and Marinette to call her by.)

" So I'm really a clone of you?" Marinette asked Jenny as we walked down the hall of the giant house floating in the middle of timeless space.

" Not a clone. A magical duplication. There's a difference," said Jenny.

" It would explain why you two act exactly the same," I admitted.

" Where do you think you get those intensely complicated plans that always work from?" Danny–who was walking next to us asked, a big smirk on his face.

" But, I look nothing like you," Marinette said again.

" You're still the daughter of your parents, but with the DNA that makes up person -ailty switched out with mine. Still, not every science-related spell works perfectly. You can see the signs on every songle magi -cal duplicate I've ever made. Most of the time, it's the eyes.

You know my eyes are blue without my magic being a part of my soul. You're parents eyes are gray and green, and no combination of the two would ever make yours. The blue color is a result of my DNA," said Jenny.

" But yours are ice blue, like Danny's. Mine are bluebell-colored," she insisted. Jenny sighed.

" I said only a little bit. But anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I sent a magical match of my personality into you, because I knew you would encounter Master Fu one day. I helped make sure that you and Adrien got the Miraculous."

" But you didn't implant your personailty into me. . . did you?" I asked.

" Nope. Your amazing personanlity, your looks, and everything that makes you an individual came from Emilie." I smiled. I really hoped that was true.

Mom was so incredible. I had told myself my whole life that I could never measure up to her. If everything came from her, then maybe I could be almost as incredible as her someday.

" I simply helped you be in the right place at the right time." My eyes widened. The morning four months ago. If she had interfered. . . that would explain everything weird that had happened that day. And I still remember it like it happened yesterday.

* Adrien: Four Months Ago*

" Adrien, time to wake up!" Natalie said through the sound system. I groaned and wrapped my pillow over my ears.

" Come on. Father told me I couldn't accept Chloé's invitation to school today, so can't I sleep in?" I asked.

" You have a very busy schedule Adrien, not time to lose. Up and Adam, lets go," she said. I sighed.

" Figures," I muttered. I got up, made my bed and grabbed a T-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and Mom's personal favorite of my many jackets from my closest. I brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and laced up my sneakers.

I sat down at my desk and clicked the computer screen. Recently, I had decided to make one of my favorite pictures of Mom my screen saver. I clicked the text icon and stared at the list of contacts.

I admit, it's a very sad number. My dad, Natalie, my body guard, and Chloé. Chloé's really the only person who actually texts me. I clicked on Chloé's number and stared at the newest one.
