" Right. That's enough magically enhanced weapons," said Susan, taking off her welding mask.

" How long till' she gets here?" Mary asked. Alex was sitting nearby, floating a few feet above the ground with her legs crossed and her fingers twisted in a strange position above her knees. Suddenly, her eyes opened and flashed dark magenta. Her eyes narrowed.

" Thirty seconds," she said.

" Come on guy's," I said. Everyone pulled off their safety gear and threw it on the floor.

" I'm going ghost!" Danny yelled. A white energy ring formed at his waist and split in two, one going up, the other going down. Blinding white light flashed faster then I could blink as the rings traveled over his body.

His normal clothes transformed into a black and white Hazmat suit, his fair skin tanned, his black hair turned white, and his ice-blue eyes flashed once before turning ghostly neon green. I smiled.

No matter how many times she transformed, it never got old. Alex pulled out the green and purple rubber bands in her very long braid. Her blonde hair burst out of her skull in a giant golden wave and landed at her thighs.

She grasped her necklace with both hands and it glowed brightly inside. The necklace jewel glowed brightly inside her hands. Large amounts of energy blew her hair around her body and she let it go, and the purple light exploded around her.

With my limited knowledge of magic, and my much stronger knowledge of Alex Chase, I guessed that the necklace wasn't causing this. It was merely a  conductor, concentrating Alex's magic into a very effective transformation spell.

" For the honor of Hecate, the magic of the Moonstone is mine to control!"

The jewel made of crystalized daylight began to glow. The blinding energy made me squint. I stared in wonder at the place on the ground Alex had been floating above about a second ago. In her place, there was a female human body made entirely of light with Alex's head on top of it, her blonde hair swirling back and forth.

The body of light raised its hands above it's head suddenly the light climbed over her neck and covered her face and hair. The human made of light because a lot brighter, and then I saw Alex's regular human body again.

Only, she was barefoot, and not wearing the same thing as before. She was wearing a violet off-the-shoulder dress outlined with gold that reached just below her knees. She held her arms out at her sides and shimmering silver light traveled up from her wrists until they reached about two inches below her elbows.

The layer of light on her forearms solidified into silver bracelets. She knocked her ankles together, making her skin shimmer. White and purple energy started at her toes and circled around her feet until they reached just below her knees, solidifying into boots of the same colors. Her closed eyes opened dramatically.

Her eyes, which were disguised in a more human-like shade of pale grayish-purple, flashed with white lightning-type energy and overtook the entire colored section. When the bright energy faded, her eyes were a gorgeous  violet, jagged lines of remaining energy dancing across her stunning irises.

Alex placed her hands on her hips and circled her waist, leaving a thick glowing trail wherever they had just been. When they met in the center, an emerald in the shape of a diamond appeared in the middle of a sparkling gold belt.

The wind around us was now so strong that Alex's hair was directly diagonal to her head. Her hair began to glow from the top and traveled down the long wave. And then it went down even farther. The giant mass of energy in the shape of human hair didn't stop until it was at least thirtysomething feet long.
