" You're story, go!" Said Tucker, pointing to Gwen. Gwen blushed.
" Well, it's sorta just Ben's story in my point of veiw."
" Continue." She sighed.
" Okay. I saw the beginning of a forest fire in the forest, then me and Grandpa realized Ben was still in there. We went into the forest to try start putting out the fire to clear a path to find him.
I found this creature made of lava and charcoal, like a living volcano. I had no idea what it was, so I screamed. Then it tried to tell me that it was someone I knew, but you can't blame me for not listening. He was fiery monster-thing!
Then, he called me a freak, and I realized there was only one person in the universe who would call me that. I thought I was crazy, but I asked the monster if it was my cousin. And it said yes! I asked what had happened, and he told me everything.
After that, it was the standard alien robot attack, and alien watch scenario. And it went on like that for the rest of the summer, Ben being a magnet for all things weird, and aliens comming from all over to track him down for the Omnitrix.
Especially this evil alien octopus overlord named Vilgax. Over the same summer, we found Kevin in New York. Now, at first, he was just your random runaway from his home. He labeled himself as a freak, because of his weird energy-sucking powers.
Ben went of with him because he was mad at Grandpa. Eventually, he figured out Kevin was totally evil--not that he is now--and realized he only cared about himself, and that he had been acting just like him. They fought, and Kevin absorbed the Omni-Energy spilling off Ben in his alien form, transforming into a half-formed version of Heatblast.
Ben escaped, but Kevin came back for him. Then, under a bridge, Kevin absorbed Ben's watch agian, turning into a slightly more humaniod version of Fourarms, which is a giant red alien with four yellow eyes and four arms, and started fighting him.
When Ben transformed back, Kevin grabbed the watch in his mutated form and, for the first time, the watch defended itself from Kevin. It has a built-in energy feedback to protect from people taking it off the wearer."
" And this energy feedback has come off the watch about how many times before?" I asked. Callista grinned.
" You're clever, Danny Fenton, I like that," she told me. I smiled.
" Thanks."
" Kevin has activated the watch feedback, not once, not twice, but nine times."
" One more, and I'll be at the winning number," said Kevin with a grim smile. I guessed-from Ben's name, and the fact that it was one more then nine-that that the winning number was 10.
" Anyway, one of those times including the time Kevin and Vilgax teamed up to take the watch off Ben.
The first time, you know, the second time was the one I just said, the third was when they were eleven and Kevin got a new batch of alien DNA. The fourth time was when they were eleven and a half, and we were in Bellwood with the Rooters. The fifth time. . . .I would rather not talk about.
The sixth time was when Ben was trying to hack the Omnitrix to get full access, and when he hit the firewall like during the second time, Kevin absorbed the alien DNA. Although he didn't look like a combination of aliens this time. He looked like a combination of materials.
The eighth time was in the Forge Of Creation and Kevin got Ben's new alien's to take on Agragor, the ninth time was only two and a half months ago, when Ben, Rook, and I were escaping from the Null Void--which I'll explain later--and from the Rooters, who were after Ben," she said.
