*Gwen Tennyson*
" Okay, that explains a lot," I said.
" Yeah. Like the story from when we first found you. Wait a second, you told us the Incursions were stealing alien tech to make us follow you into that memory, didn't you?" Ben asked. Alex raised her hands in surrender.
" You caught me. In my defense, they were actually stealing the tech," she said. Everyone gasped.
" And you let them get away with it?" Ben practically shrieked.
" No way!" Alex countered, sounding offended. " I called it in. The Plumbers caught them red-handed," she said. We all sighed.
" Dude, I can't believe it. You weren't lying when you said the Omnitrix fell out of the sky," said Danny.
" Didn't you watch it with Alex?" Kevin asked.
" Yeah, but Ben had a lot of adventures. But the time we got through the six and a half years he's had that thing, I had forgotten about the first one," he said.
" What does this have to do with the Magic Realm?"
" I made the portal that let me watch the day you found the Omnitrix because I wanted to impress my classmates when I went to the academy in the fall.
What I didn't count on is becoming insanely intrested in what the window showed me. I spent the whole summer watching you two on your adventures. By the time the new school year started, I wasn't sure I wanted to go to the academy anymore.
But I did go. And I made a lot of friends. I probably would've stayed if it hadn't been for two things. One, the minute I got settled in, a job offer from Mount Olympus came knocking on my front doorstep. Literally.
The Fates needed a responsible, respectful, and obedient young sorceress to help them with their work. And they needed someone who wasn't immortal, because they wanted somebody who still had their mortal humanity.
Being a protege for The Fates was not only the greatest achievement a sorceress could ever ask for, but also the greatest academic experience of all time. The Fates are the most powerful women in the entire Omniverse.
They shape Fate for gods sake! I took the job, more excited then I'd been in my entire life. I had everything I'd ever wanted. I had freinds, a new boyfriend, and a best friend. When I turned eleven years old, The Fates decided I should get a little reward.
They told me that if I could manipulate the timeline of the Tangled Prime Universe so Rapunzel ended up using the power of the Sundrop and the Moonstone together so they would fly into space, I could keep the stone for myself.
I grew up loving Rapunzel. She was my favorite princess when I was little. And of course, The Fates knew this, which is why they knew it would be the perfect gift. They told me it was a test to prove myself. I had gotten significantly good at cause-and-effect chains from experimenting with your timeline.
I was extremely confident that I could do it. And while there were a few bumps in the road, I eventually got her to release the power of the Sundrop and Moonstone into the space, knowing it was too powerful for anyone in her kingdom, even her.
A drop of power remains, enough to give her a blonde strip at the front of her hair. But most of the magic was shot directly into space, were my Galvan orb was waiting to catch the merged magic stone. I separated the magic stones and showed them to The Fates, who gave me a spell.
This, I hadn't expected. The Fates told me that when I was ready, I could merge the power permanently with my soul. I knew I wasn't ready. In fact, I argued that they had made a mistake at first," said Alex.
